@CockertonPaul @dallasteslaclub Because I didn’t post the “hot take”. This isn’t my tweet. The tweet is a screen shot from my in depth 30 minute review video that someone else posted.
English

Hot take. The Model YL while an exciting new vehicle that will be a no brainer over the current Model Y is not the family SUV we have been waiting for from Tesla.
Image source is screenshot from @whatsinside review of the Tesla Model Y L

English

@whatsinside @dallasteslaclub So why doesn’t you post say “this is the worst possible scenario “ rather than “hot take” - please don’t bother responding, I already know the answer
English

@CockertonPaul @dallasteslaclub This picture is me showing what happens if you move the second row all the way back. I reviewed three different positions in this video and this is a screenshot of the worst possible scenario. It is not BS.

@RobGrieves @ev_australia @Shell_Australia @bp_Australia @AmpolAustralia @CaltexAustralia @UnitedPetroleum Coffee, toilets, power connections easily accessible - allowing the gas stations to pivot. Surely it’s a good thing
English

@ev_australia @Shell_Australia @bp_Australia @AmpolAustralia @CaltexAustralia @UnitedPetroleum The last place I want to charge is at a petrol station. EV chargers can be installed anywhere, so why pick a servo?
English

Can you please help accelerate EV charging infrastructure in Australia?! Want every pump to have EV fast charging bays! Is it too much to ask? @Shell_Australia @bp_Australia @AmpolAustralia @CaltexAustralia @UnitedPetroleum
Peter Lorry™@Seat6A
@ev_australia @WAGovernment Pretty much every Shell, Chevron, and Petro-Canada gas station typically now has (or soon will) at least 4 180kW chargers. The provincial electric utility (crown corp) is building out a network of 8-charger stations (4x 800V 400kW + 4x 400V 180kW).
English

@willfleming I had one issue with wrong lane selection (see video), but noting unsafe. It drove the windy roads out near Mangawhai on the east coast in the dark, through mist like a boss
English

@CockertonPaul Oh cool. That’s great news. My FSD nearly drove me into a road divider today while I was out East Auckland. But it was on a new road layout and maybe I have begun to trust it too much.
English

@ryanjaycowan I genuinely think that the likes of BYD, Zeeker and the like are good cars, but that’s all, they are just good cars. Tesla produce great cars, they have X-factor, there is buzz, there is a story - a little je ne sais quoi. There is also friction and counter point for richness
English

Thought bubble: Ideally there would be a 'Ryan's Model Y' for other EVs in Australia too. I want to learn more about the ownership experience of a BYD and a Zeekr, and a Xpeng.
The reason I created my channel is because it was the content I wanted to WATCH but was missing from YouTube.
Yes it takes dedication and effort, but there's no better feeling than helping thousands of other people with their purchase decision. But make it exciting and passionate (or is that just a Tesla thing?) 😅
English

@willfleming I hope so! A very geeky friend says that ‘they’ have been uploading a heap of data from the cars recently and expects v14 in a month or two. I think he also said that a couple of months ago too 🤔😬😂
English

@CockertonPaul Ok great. Thanks for the insights - appreciate it. Think v14.3.1 will fix this? (if we ever get it 😂)
English

@Investanswers @redpillb0t @grok Looks like an oil leak into the APU - probably hydraulic fluid leak. Seen something similar before.
And there are no such things as chemtrails - period
English

@redpillb0t @grok is this real? and do chemtrails exist?
English

I have been in a Tesla with it. It was cool. But you are still needed to sit there and monitor it their entire time. You need to be in the vehicle and still legally are operating it.
The entire point for wanting a self driving car is it can do things like pick you up, drop off people who can’t drive, or go home by itself. No just drive when you could be anyway.
English

Crazy how under-appreciated Tesla FSD is in Australia. I feel this is about to change soon, as this will be the last time we significantly lag behind US releases. v14.3+ should see faster pacing for global rollouts. US will always be the proving ground, but RHD markets shouldn't be far behind.
English

@starman8888 @ryanjaycowan …and I’m just a regular dude. No axe to grind and no butt to kiss. Just an incredible product
English

@starman8888 @ryanjaycowan I love driving; couldn’t really see the need for FSD in a private vehicle. Until I tried it. Don’t ask me why, but now I use it every trip and I love it. It hasn’t diminished my love of being in the car but it is absolutely amazing and surprisingly calming
English

@LhommeDesole My ‘22 MY is at 97.4% bl00dy awesome actually
English

I don’t think Tesla’s 70% degradation for battery warranty is acceptable. Anything over 80% is absolutely unacceptable and should warrant replacement. It’s obvious Tesla is playing the numbers because new models are seeing far more degradation than earlier models did. Current battery quality is worse than 8 years ago. Completely unacceptable
English

@RobGrieves Apart from maybe a Ute due to lack of options, why is anyone still buying a PHEV? Absolute nonsense
English

@SoVeryBritish Exactly why I’ve taken Tuesday off too
