It becomes ever more clear just how cruel it was to tell a cohort of unwell people the lie that the whole world would pretend not to know their sex, to tell them that they would be welcomed into single-sex spaces designated for the sex that was not their own, and to affirm their rejection of their own bodies. So deeply cruel.

I have been sickened all day by the news of three boys who lured two schoolgirls, raped them, and filmed it on their phones while they laughed and egged each other on. When they finally stood before a judge this week, they were handed “rehabilitation orders” and walked out without serving a single day behind bars. Not in prison, not in custody or a young offender institution. The judge said, “None of you need to go to prison”. What message does that send to rapists? The crime could hardly be graver, yet the punishment was no punishment at all. It’s the collapse of consequences and the rot runs right through the justice system. And this is only going to get worse because Labour are choosing to go soft on criminals: ❌ They have abolished short prison sentences. ❌ They have let tens of thousands of criminals out early. ❌ And now they want to raise the age of criminal responsibility, so that even MORE young offenders escape any consequence at all. My position is common sense👇 PRISON WORKS. ✅It punishes those who do wrong, it keeps dangerous people off our streets and away from our children. ✅It tells every victim that the law is on their side. A country that forgets this is a country where schoolgirls are raped and filmed for sport, and the boys who did it get to go home. Conservatives stand against it and our policies on sentencing and prison are the ones that will deliver a stronger country.

@NormanBrennan They didn't try to rape anybody in Court, did they. Proves that they are rational, calculating and can control themselves when it pays. So they can understand you don't kidnap little girls and force your penis inside them. They did that because it was high reward, low cost.

Yesterday I was handing out leaflets outside the EU parliament and I saw a gangly man in a dress on the horizon. I was wearing an adult human female T-shirt and when he approached I stuck the leaflet in front of him, it had in big letters GENERATION TRANS, and he looked at me and said “I’m trans” and I replied “Yeah I can see that” and he got very angry and gave me the finger. This man had spent the entire day in his office surrounded by people pretending it’s not blindingly obvious he’s a bloke. He was like I’m trans akshully and I was like yeah I could see that from half a mile away Dave. I hate that people keep fluffing up these guys

Roisin, I've recently written that this whole battle has very little to do with trans actually, when you analyse it. It is about truth. We are fighting an elite trying to force the man and woman in the street to admit to something as true when they know it is patently false. Call out the falsehood and punishment reigns down on you. As much as trans-activists like to believe the world revolves around them and this is all about them, it isn't. This is about our society, its future and the future of our kids. Trans is just the vehicle it is being fought on right now. And it is a fight we must win. It is freedom verses authoritarianism. It is free speech versus controlled speech and thought. It is so much bigger than India Willoughby and Helen Weberley. It is a fight for our children's futures. This to many may sound overly dramatic, but it is the truth I believe.
