@davidxfeed @_SFTahoe @grant_melson @TeslaBoomerMama Well I am not ready to throw in the towel. There's still a lot of upside to TSLA and even if SpaceX does acquire Tesla it will have to be at some sort of premium and it won't happen for a while. I think it's fair to argue the case that it's better to wait to merge.

@Coding_Zombie @_SFTahoe @grant_melson @TeslaBoomerMama I see what you’re saying. You’re suggesting a majority of shareholders think selling to SpaceX is wrong but these shareholders hold less shares than those who agree with it. If that’s your honest assessment, you might want to consider selling your shares, no?

I would welcome you to debate any of the points that I brought in your comments @TeslaBoomerMama . There are many critical flaws in your arguments (such as claiming retail shareholders did not fund robotaxi R&D as shareholders..) that I countered in your comments. Which I think is what got me blocked. Happy to debate, I care too much for TSLA shareholders to let those slide unaddressed.

It's the "merger now!" argument that we're having an emotional reaction to. In 1.5-3 years, Tesla should be in a much more reasonable place in their product ramps (optimus and robotaxi) to demonstrate to the market its true present value
Josh@CyberSolarX

When i first heard the rumors I thought about it seriously & was thinking that maybe someday it would make sense. Then ppl started making videos talking about how it can * and should* happen starting in June. That's where the emotion comes from. I'm not sure there is an offer id accept this year unless Tesla is valued over $750 minimum.

@DoctorJack16 If you think Bradford owns more tsla than SpaceX, and you’re saying that’s a bad thing for the viewer (mostly tsla retail), wouldn’t the suspicion of him owning more TSLA mean he’s more aligned with the viewer?

@_SFTahoe @cornfed_88 xAI cursor deal - none of Groks models are on par with the best. There's lots of competition. Very unlikely, but would be big if it happened. Starship - the space economy is huge but there isn't much upside near term except for starlink which is already baked in to expectations

@_SFTahoe @cornfed_88 Hyperscaler + chip supplier - this is a good point but how much of the Terrafab was Tesla funded? Realistically how much profit will this provide vs the sky high valuation? Isn't there a lot of competition here?

A TALE OF TWO COMPANIES: Tesla + SpaceX SUPPLY CONSTRAINT ♦️QUESTION: Where exactly do you think the chips are coming from to support Tesla’s growth - that in turn leads to the projected many-fold valuation increase for RoboTaxis and Optimus? TESLA NEEDS SPACEX - & VICE VERSA ♦️Elon Musk said chip suppliers told Tesla they “aren’t comfortable” supplying the volumes Tesla requires. Terafab solves this constraint. Companies without their own fabs may be capped at ~20% YOY growth. Tesla’s Terafab investment starts with ~$3B in the research lab; real-estate filings show SpaceX’s potential commitment on the Terafab at ~$50–55B (with total project value potentially far higher). ♦️Wall Street isn’t going to rerate Tesla without the chip-supply problem solved. That anticipated run-up you’re waiting for? It doesn’t happen without the SpaceX joint Terafab initiative. Terafab rollout encounters problems? Tesla RoboTaxi and Optimus growth projections are negatively impacted as is TSLA’s stock price. ♦️Tesla and SpaceX NEED EACH OTHER. SpaceX is already beneficial to Tesla. The joint initiatives — Terafab, AI Space Compute, and Digital Optimus — offer upside that dwarfs today’s trajectories. 🧵Next: Delete the Process Step

This is terrible. The term "fud" doesn't apply here from a $tsla perspective. You're not trying to scare ppl into selling tsla shares. You (& me) actually want to keep our shares and believe in Tesla long term more than SpaceX in the short term. I don't hear anyone being totally against a merger in perpetuity, it's really just that we don't believe tesla has enough robotaxi priced in, yet, SpaceX is at all time highs with 1000x PE. We literally want what's best for $tsla shareholders. That is not "fud"

@TeslaBoomerMama @_SFTahoe I know how much @TeslaBoomerMama and @_SFTahoe have done for the Tesla community and I am grateful, but what's going on with this sale isn't right. I know you will not respond or acknowledge what I said because I'm not a big account but please consider why so many are upset.

@TeslaBoomerMama @_SFTahoe Amy is usually on the right side of things but I don't think so this time. Selling to SpaceX right on the cusp of Robotaxi's launch, among other catalysts feels like such a betrayal of those who have stood by Elon all these years as Tesla investors. 😞

@_SFTahoe @grant_melson @TeslaBoomerMama I am a fan of both Amy and TBM. I know you had to give up your ability to sell shares for helping in the ridiculous Tornetta case. This isn't just some loud minority. I think most Tesla investors would agree that Tesla is undervalued and selling to SpaceX now is wrong.

You might like to “debate ” many of us find it exhausting. There really aren’t critical flaws in Alexandra’s arguments - that is just your opinion. There is a loud minority that are with you, but most are smarter than that. Use your own page and your own visibility to spread your FUD. Alexandra doesn’t have to lend you her visibility.

Perhaps it’s exhausting to debate an issue that is very important and defend one’s stance concretely. @TeslaBoomerMama claimed that Tesla retail did not pay for Tesla’s robotaxi, stating that anyone who is professional would know this isn’t how the stock market works. I refuted pointing out that shareholders own a company’s cashflows and assets and therefore sacrificed much near term upside for robotaxi. It is misleading to her large audience, many of the claims she is making. She has a responsibility to them to present the facts or at least hear debate and consider the facts. Many depend on the Tesla influencer crowd for their intake of information. When 95% of accounts over 50K followers (save rebellionaire) unanimously and suddenly shifted from being extremely bullish and near term on the prospects of Tesla, to comparing Tesla to Blockbuster and warning that Tesla would suffer permanent economic leakage to SpaceX if they did not merge in @CernBasher’s case. Many of us have had red flags triggered Not bots, but tsla investors with 10s of thousands of shares, X M&A lawyers, and members of the professional financial community.

I think we’re good with inviting a merger.. after our robotaxi catalyst is realized and valued by the market. Even inviting a merge offer now or soon is saying "our biggest catalyst as a company coming soon, but sure I'll consider selling now". If you were a business owner whose business was on the verge of a core business transformation. Margins are about to transform, revenue about to reawaken its growth; would you be going out and fielding offers to sell your business now? No. The same should be true for TSLA shareholders if they're serious about robotaxi soon moving TSLA from a low margin (~7-8K per car) one-time car sale model to a high margin annually recurring 30K+ profit per car.
