Sad News: Former Wisconsin TE Jack Pugh has passed away at the age of 25.
Jack stepped away from the team a few years ago while battling mental health issues and depression 😔

Only one school in the state of Louisiana was in March Madness in 2026, McNeese (3rd year in a row).
Give me the days of UNO under Benny Dees/Tim Floyd, Dale Brown at LSU, Perry Clark at Tulane, Mike Vining with Northeast LA. again.

LSU had 700 men’s basketball season ticket requests in the first 24 hours after Will Wade was hired, Brian Broussard Assoc AD for Ticket Sales and Operations tells me.
Last season, there were 5,400 season tickets sold.
Fans can get on the list until end of May at which point requests will be sorted by priority ranking.

@JonRothstein Officially, no deal in place according to sources, but close. Also, for the record, Dr. Rousse was not McNeese President when Wade was hired; Dr. Daryl Burckel was. Rousse followed him.

For those who have followed the LSU-McNeese saga closely, this felt like the most likely outcome since Wade Rousse was named the LSU President.

Sources: LSU is working to hire McNeese's Heath Schroyer as a Senior Administrator. The Tigers' head coaching job is not open, but LSU President Wade Rousse & Schroyer both previously hired NC State's Will Wade at McNeese & are on the verge of bringing him back to Baton Rouge.
