@SenWarren Fed income tax, ignores the payroll taxes they paid for the millions of employees these businesses have. The irony of incentivizing corporate tax credits and then when the companies use them to offset their taxable profits everyone loses their minds.

If you paid even a penny in federal income tax last year, you paid more than: Tesla Southwest Disney Live Nation HP United PayPal CVS Health Palantir Citigroup PG&E 3M That's right. They paid $0 in federal income tax. It's time for big corporations to pay their fair share.

@PittsburgWizard @MeidasTouch The endless cycle of tax the rich, give the rich tax breaks, deficit spend, and never actually do anything to help the system. The system being the every day people who work and pay into it. The government is too large and subsidizes way too many people.

@CoffeeGrunt1 @MeidasTouch The government doesn’t enforce laws on the books because of corruption. If we don’t prosecute our supposed friends for defrauding the American people what rate do we have to prosecute our enemies?

NEWS: Huge first win for Mayor Mamdani’s tax-the-rich plans in NYC. Mamdani just secured a deal with Gov. Hochul to create the state’s first-ever tax on $5 million+ second homes owned by ultrawealthy out-of-state residents. Hochul hopes to raise $500 million annually that would be used to address the city’s deficit.

@CoffeeGrunt1 @MeidasTouch If American national security is forever tied up in the interests of multinational tyrannical billionaires they’ll never be prosecuted for defrauding the American people in a multitude of concrete ways.

@PittsburgWizard @MeidasTouch Well there are laws, you just wouldn’t want to prosecute your friend since your wallet would get lighter. We need more audits and people to actually end up in jail

If we actually lived in a democracy and not an oligarchy we wouldn’t need to tax the rich more. Crony capitalism is just the logical conclusion of capitalists. Profit above all else has lead us here. Smaller government isn’t the answer. Laws against corruption/public financed elections solve this in part.

@krassenstein lol has this become a reverse smear campaign because Biden did something racist? Cmon now this is laughable. Also isn’t this the same guy who said he was gonna quit X? Seems awfully active for someone who wants to leave…guess the engagement paychecks were too good

They look the same. Now turn your attention towards the senile guy starting wars. Biden isn’t president and isn’t the one getting Americans killed.

@PittsburgWizard @MeidasTouch Well the sensible answer is what you said but taxing the rich is not and I think we can agree to disagree it won’t go anywhere with the cronies we have in office.

The party is run by centrist feckless do nothings. It’s not run by people who only had small dollar donations and are not corrupted. Both parties are corrupt. Taxing the rich more is just a popular thing that most Americans think should happen. The party is just piggybacking off of that.

@PittsburgWizard @MeidasTouch Taxing the rich when the government deficit spends is the wrong answer regardless of who’s in office. I was only playing along to your corrupted government tangent because that’s literally the slogan of the dem party, which ironically they just posted not too long ago…

@CoffeeGrunt1 @MeidasTouch Did you wake up yesterday? You and I both know the government is corrupted. Taxing the rich and voting for politicians that only take small dollar donations without super pacs can end the corruption and use that money to do lots of things that benefit everyone not just the rich.

@PittsburgWizard @MeidasTouch So now the government is corrupt? Tax the rich so the wealth redistributes…oh wait then it just goes back to the rich because it’s corrupt? So then why are we taxing the rich? Sounds like a political slogan to get the corrupted officials into office then doesn’t it…?

@CoffeeGrunt1 @MeidasTouch That’s what rich people do. They create closed loops, where money is transferred into wealth, but then it cannot be ever taxed because that’s how the rich have corrupted the gov to work.

The Stop Killing Games movement has officially backed the proposed California bill focused on protecting players when online games are shut down. > Publishers must provide an offline mode or a way to keep the game playable after server shutdown. > If this is not possible, players should receive a full refund. > The goal is to protect digital ownership and game preservation. This proposal follows growing concerns over games becoming completely inaccessible once support ends, especially after shutdowns like The Crew. Most gamers think that if players pay for a game, it should remain playable or be fairly compensated.

@PittsburgWizard @MeidasTouch So what you’re saying is wealth will not redistribute itself so why raise taxes on the rich if you’ll never see it? Some revenge scheme to just take away their money? Oh wait you said it just goes right back to them…seems like you created a loop here…

@DarrigoMelanie How can these companies pay zero in taxes when they have to pay employee taxes every payroll period? Do they mean they evened out what they owed what they’re credited? This doesn’t make sense to me

@PittsburgWizard @MeidasTouch Prettt simple concept actually that taxing the rich more doesn’t redistribute wealth when our governments waste fully spends it. If there was more responsible spending and less deficit spending people would be more inclined to pay more in taxes.

@MeidasTouch It’s so weird people are against soaking the rich. Their fall from monopoly power and kneecapping the constantly ballooning wealth is your benefit. Even if they were taxed so much they only took in 150,000 a year and had to sell their many homes you’d benefit.

@CoffeeGrunt1 @Elite_Coyote @ReiTVT @KiloTheRed @Pirat_Nation I am not trolling, keep supporting companies that keep scamming you I guess. Bottomline is, I am not against longevity of games, that was never my point, but flat out asking for full refund after you got hundreds of hours from game is honestly bad imho.

Maybe getting the opportunity to play Augusta National unlimited times the month leading into The Masters, while skipping three straight tournaments, gave Rory McIlroy an unfair advantage over the other competitors… Just maybe. Congrats, or whatever.
