B HODL Updates- Back in Action Between our EGM on the IoM and our in depth Q4 shareholder update, we hit pause on these shorter updates, but we're back in the rhythm now. Treasury & Operations On the treasury side, we've been buying the dip as promised, adding to our Bitcoin holdings and bringing our total to over 161 BTC. NB - every purchase is strategic, lowering our average cost basis and increasing sats per share for you as shareholders. We remain well capitalised, with a long cash runway, and are generating revenues day by day (we earn Bitcoin every day, remember; adding to our stack in a non-dilutive way). Fluctuations in the Bitcoin price, perhaps counter-intuitively, are of little impact to our underlying business. Lightning & Infrastructure The Lightning Network's growth continues to impress. You may have seen the announcement from @voltage_cloud on the $1M transaction that settled in under a second - a great proof point that Lightning is ready for serious business beyond just micropayments. This is hugely important, as it’s yet more validation of our thesis: Lightning as a payment system suited for both micropayments and large-scale cross-border settlements. Keep an eye out for our own results, updates, and intel coming soon. Policy & Advocacy A busy start to the year. Had the pleasure of speaking at the Canadian High Commission in London alongside some sharp brains in the space, discussing digital asset maturation, regulation, and the role of ETPs in global markets. The conversation around institutional adoption keeps evolving, and it’s clear the UK still has a (rapidly closing) window to get this right. I’ve also made two trips into Parliament in January and Feb, giving evidence and contributing to roundtables with the Crypto and Digital Assets APPG. The focus remains on pushing for clearer, more agile regulation that keeps the UK competitive rather than watching from the sidelines. Grateful to @CryptoUKAssoc and @DigitalChamber for facilitating these sessions. Having Bitcoin-only voices in the room really matters, especially given how well funded the ‘Crypto not Bitcoin’ lobby is. Community Free Sats Friday remains popular (sponsored by me this week)!
