One of the ways I think of Bitcoin | BIP-110 boils down to this: We get spam in our email inboxes every day. I think most would like to avoid it. But we make the decision on how to mark | filter that spam into trash. This isn't done by a unilateral rule change that decides what to filter, without our input. One path represents individual choice; the other represents implementing censorship via code. As @adam3us noted, the Internet (and Bitcoin) are supposed to be ungovernable systems. We can’t (effectively) stop spam via intrusive protocol changes, but that’s why mechanisms like fees exist.

This isn’t accurate. Core v30 still allows you to configure datacarriersize to a stricter value (such as 83 bytes). The release notes even document how to override the new default. What changed in v30 is the default behavior, not the ability to configure it. Node operators can still choose stricter OP_RETURN policy limits if they want to.This is exactly why policy level solutions remain available as an alternative to consensus rule changes. Hey @adam3us does Luke just make things up or what...?

Weird how all the DFL politicians that pardoned a pedo want to take guns away from law abiding citizens

@PeteHegseth There's a reason it's against the rules to do stuff like this. But hey, Secretary of War Crimes Kegseth thinks explosions are just as cool as flyovers. Some of you may die, but that's a price he's willing to pay!

I always thought living in a million dollar house would feel special Not in San Diego haha Our new place is 1,430 sq ft and has no yard, just a nice big patio. 3 br, 2.5 bath and 2 car garage In 10 years this will be a $2M house and in 20 it’ll be a $5 million dollar house Aim higher than you think for retirement numbers, guys 😂

bitcoin immutability has to be watered from time to time with the tears of reactionary people who want to bend it to their confused ideas.

I think it’s time to seriously consider a vote for daily divs for STRC. It can give the market daily reassurance that we will meet our obligations. It may help reduce volatility as well with the pay date, ex Div, record date all on the same day.

Saylor sold 32 Bitcoin and spooked the market. Now they didn’t buy any bitcoin last week and just announced a Bitcoin Monetization plan (which is funny because that actually implies Bitcoin isn’t money but could be turned into money (USD)). Does he not realize this could spooked the markets way more? 😅

@CJ_Bitcoin @Strategy I recommend you look for a real career at a real company. Start now. This thing has no future. But you don’t even get that this is the time to stay silent. So you won’t listen.
