You cannot turn your C4 into your political campaign. This has serious legal and ethical implications under the law.

Top 10 feelings: -new socks -upper body muscle soreness -recognizing a moment while you’re in it -giving someone an expensive gift -getting hugged by your friend’s dad -waking up in the middle of the night realizing you have more hours to sleep -when a girl with a good body grabs you by your inner elbow -spotting a cop and slowing down just in time to avoid a speeding ticket -Fridays in 9th Grade knowing you had a sleepover at your best friend’s house after school -hearing Over My Head by The Fray for the first time in a while -hitting a double in Little League in front of your Grandpa -realizing you’re living a phase of your life you already know you’re gonna wanna re-live (makes you 10% sad 90% wildly grateful to be alive)

So you thought you were following a nonprofit government watchdog group, @DOGE SC? Nay nay. You are now following a campaign for Governor, starring none other than the DOGE SC founder himself, Rom Reddy. How convenient for a newly filed candidate to suddenly have 34,000 followers overnight. Reddy’s run may not come as a complete surprise. But it is interesting that a candidate whose motto is “Time for Something Different” has a history of donating thousands of dollars to some of the very politicians who have had SC in a chokehold of the same old same old. SC Confidential took a closer look at those records. You can read the article here: sc-confidential.com/sc-statehouse/… Below you’ll also find Reddy’s response to the article, along with my reply. While questions may be uncomfortable to the less than transparent, as Rom once said, it’s our civic duty to continue asking them. And we will. Reddy or not.

The Trump admin has begun canceling 200k CDLs for migrant truck drivers Good! Biden fast tracked their licenses while they could barely speak English or read our road signs. No more Americans should die because foreign truck drivers can’t understand English. Enough is enough!

@JoeQuincy @ColaSCWatchDog This isn’t about insurance companies….its about plaintiffs attorneys. Period. Insurance companies don’t need SC…they’ll go where states laws are fair….NC, GA, TN….These carriers aren’t even filed to write policies less than $1MM liability…..do your research

There is an insurance company problem in South Carolina, and no amount of "tort reform" will fix it, no matter what their paid-for politicians say. Reform insurance to revitalize SC citizens and businesses!
Reform Insurance Now SC@reform_ins_sc

South Carolina lawmakers promised relief with so-called "tort reform" but bar owners said it did the opposite. Christopher Smith, Executive Director of the South Carolina Bar and Tavern Association, said it’s not a guarantee that businesses will actually receive these reductions because of a “disconnect between the Department of Insurance, the bill that passed, and the insurance companies.” He described multiple scenarios where bar owners went to their insurance company for renewals and to let them know they qualify for a risk-mitigation reduction — just to be denied. “People are saying, ‘I went to my insurance company and said, I’ve done X, Y, and Z as far as these mitigating factors’. And the insurance companies are basically telling them, ‘We don’t have to follow that, that’s not our policy, that’s state policy,'” Smith recounted. “Unfortunately, these are [the insurance companies] policies. They’re not changing their policy just for the state of South Carolina, these are the policies they issue throughout the country.” Read the full story below. Are you Reddy? Sat down with @RomReddySC this morning on his launch into the governor's race, along with an eye-popping pledge: a $1 million spending spree in the first two weeks of the race. If people like it, "money is not going to be the issue here.” #tncms-source=latest_posts" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">postandcourier.com/politics/rom-r…

Wow. Just wait until the Republican primary voters connect with the pro se vigilante litigant himself, Sir Seawall. His relatability on the stump will be unmatched but for the Late Great Alvin Green. The #PalmettoRevolution has truly begun.

Any trip back to Columbia means family and a few must-stop spots. Lizard’s Thicket will always be special (it’s where I first introduced my wife to my family), and the buffet at Brookland Baptist Church never disappoints.
