Well aware I’ll get heat for this but just my opinion… Play 50 over cricket at the start of the summer. Allows everyone to play it unless in IPL etc. Best format of the game to develop young players and physically prepare people for champ cricket… 10 over spells, batsmanship,

@JamesMelville My Dad ( 87 yrs ) was chuntering about this yesterday. He reminded me of when we were kids, the “gully sucker” would come round regularly - great excitement amongst the local kids who’d all gather round to watch & speculate on what treasures or ghouls were being extracted.

During the winter weather in the UK, many streets and roads have been flooded. It might help if the drains were regularly cleaned by local councils. The lack of infrastructure maintenance in this country is ridiculous. What exactly are we paying our council tax for again?

@LeStyl0 @dave43law If their outgoings mean there is “not much left over” from a combined income of over £200k then they need a very basic explanation of how to manage their lifestyle. Cut costs, improve efficiency or increase earnings. Very simple business logic when applied to household mgmt.
