🚨 A 12-Year-Old Boy Found His Dog Shot Dead on His Own Property in Texas
On the morning of May 2nd, a heartbreaking and disturbing discovery was made on a family’s private 20-acre property. Bryson’s beloved dog, Winston, was found shot and killed 84 yards inside their property line.
Winston wasn’t just a dog. He was a best friend to a 12-year-old boy.
“Imagine being a child and finding your companion, gentle, loyal, and only 11 months old, gone in such a violent, senseless way. Winston would have turned one this month. He had no aggressive tendencies and was loved not only by Bryson, but by neighboring children as well,” his dad said.
The family took Winston to the vet, where X-rays confirmed the devastating truth:
the bullet did not exit. It caused severe internal damage, and Winston suffered before he died.
This was not an accident you can easily explain away.
The Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating. Evidence, including the bullet, has been turned over, and there are already leads being pursued.
Whoever did this, you didn’t just kill a dog.
You shattered a child’s sense of safety.
The family is asking for answers. They are asking for accountability. And they are asking the public to help.
📞 If you know anything, please call the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office at (361) 798-2121.

SAUDI ARABIA SAW THIS SHIT COMING 45 YEARS AGO.
The US Navy just ran the same play.
In 1984, the USS Stark got hit in the Persian Gulf and nearly sank.
In 1988, the USS Samuel B. Roberts hit an Iranian mine and almost went down.
The US spent 40 years studying exactly how Iran fights in the Strait — small boats, missiles, drone swarms, saturation attacks designed to overwhelm a single ship.
So when the USS Truxtun and USS Mason crossed Hormuz yesterday under a "sustained barrage" of Iranian small boats, missiles, and drones —
They weren't improvising.
They had AH-64 Apaches overhead.
F-16 fighters on station.
Over 100 aircraft total.
CENTCOM destroyed 6-7 Iranian boats before they got close.
Zero US vessels struck.
Both destroyers crossed.
Two commercial ships crossed with them.
Iran has been running the same attack playbook since 1987.
The US spent 40 years building the answer to it.
Yesterday, they ran the drill for real.

The maximum annual Social Security payroll tax contribution is currently $10,453.20.
If you paid that full amount every year from age 18 until retirement, your maximum Social Security benefit would be about $4,873 per month.
By contrast, if you had invested that same amount annually in a low-cost S&P 500 index fund instead, you could expect roughly $32,583 per month in retirement income.
Social Security is a scam.

You know who you are. On April 17, you saw me in my yard with my dog. You watched a freak mishap occur. You saw the collar slip over my dog's head. You saw me immediately react, bringing my dog under control as quickly as I could manage without her leaving my property. You heard me apologize and wish you an enjoyable rest of your walk and a great day. You saw me smile.
After seeing that, you did not choose to show me understanding. You called the police. Maybe you told one of your buddies, who called the police on your behalf. Either way, you chose litigiousness over grace. For an incident that left no victims.
The police took my family's dog for that. A dog we've had for ten years. A dog I bonded with in war. Now she's in a concrete cell and I face criminal charges over an incident that left no victims.
I've been angry at you. But I am no more. I choose forgiveness. Not for your sake, but for mine. You are free to hate me if you want, but I will not hate you in return. I do not want to carry that weight.
I'm sure that you have managed to convince yourself that you were in the right. That you were perfectly justified in calling the police on me over the freak collar mishap. That taking away a family's dog and putting a law-abiding citizen who has never wanted to be anything but a good neighbor to you through a living hell was the right thing to do. These words of mine are not going to convince you otherwise, but time may.
"Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts." I pray that the Lord will find me a humble servant, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with Him when he weighs my heart. I am a work in progress, but I'm trying to let the Word be my guide and His will be my own.
When I say that I forgive you, I mean that sincerely. I hold you no ill will and I will not hold a grudge against you. Not for one day more.
I wish you nothing but the best. I hope that God blesses you and your family.

The entire middle of America is essentially one giant swathe of land that is absolutely perfect for raising cattle or bison...as shown by the vast herds of bison seen by Lewis and Clark
Instead, we subsidize the production of vast loads of corn that exhausts and degrades the topsoil and underground water reservoirs, and meanwhile import cheap and worse-tasting beef from Brazil that drives American ranchers out of business, while allowing a few big meatpackers to further squeeze American ranchers and drive up beef prices for Americans
It's nonsensical at every level, other than that it helps certain special interests that can afford to lobby for the most absurd policies imaginable
Rapid Response 47@RapidResponse47
.@SecRollins: "Half of these meatpacking giants, including the largest meat packer in the world, are either foreign-owned or have significant foreign ownership and control, making them a threat not just to our cattle producers, but a threat to America itself."

More thoughts on landings:
I went to the Reserves & got re-qualified as a KC-10 instructor after a couple years away from the jet.
The DO (Director of Operations) assigned me to fly w/ the Wing Commander, who flew jets occasionally now & had only a weird “Senior Staff” Qual in the KC-10. Long story.
Anyway, the DO gave me a warning. He phrased it in a nice way, but told me they only allowed certain instructors to fly w/ the Wing Commander. It piqued my curiosity, but I didn’t go on high alert or anything.
So, we’re on the last landing of the sortie, really late at night. Things look fine, he’s doing fine, and I’m happy we’re almost done.
Somehow in the last 100’, this guy manages to put the jet down almost in the lights leading up to the runway. I’ve never seen anything like it & couldn’t explain it. It was like the universe paused, reset our height above the ground, then resumed play.
We touched down on the main gear maybe 50’ from the runway threshold. I didn’t have time to react. I realized we were safe & stopping, so didn’t say anything. I didn’t debrief him, either…he wasn’t going to listen to me anyway.
I tried to figure out how that happened. I honestly never did. I didn’t see any yoke movements or power adjustments that would account for it, nor was there any weather that would do it. We were on speed & glidepath. I still don’t really know.
Anyway, I talked to the DO the next day. He wasn’t surprised, and reiterated that was why they only let him fly with a handful of instructors. I flew with him again, and it was vanilla, but I watched like a Hawk. That lesson sticks with me.
Fast forward to years later, and I haven’t actually flown the KC-10 in a long time. I’m not current & so my qualification has lapsed. I hear my son on a video game group chat telling others something along the lines of “yeah, when my dad retires I get to wave the jet in to parking”.
Shit. The kids are expecting that. I was just going to go away quietly…I had a lot going on in those years. A lot. I didn’t have the bandwidth for the KC-10, but now there is an expectation & I can’t let them down.
So, the squadron goes to extraordinary lengths & draws up a whole requalification plan for me, which has to be signed at multiple levels. In reality, it’s just to do one last flight, and not even do much flying. The squadron was extremely gracious in this regard.
My instructor, a good friend of mine, offers me the last landing. I’ve strapped into the seat for this one…I’d been napping in the back while the other pilots took turns practicing touch & gos for their currency.
I considered it, but the jet – which I had thousands of hours on – felt huge now & I was uncomfortable. I declined & put my hands in my lap.
He landed & slowed it down. I took over to taxi it in for my kids, and then we had the whole show of throwing water on me, champagne & pictures.
And that was it. That was my last landing in a military jet.

I have two of these in my barn and still use them occasionally.
I would think that many of you would probably know exactly what this is as they are not in any way vintage at all.

Eric Holder: Democrats haven’t wielded power aggressively enough — and they need to start:
“Progressives and Democrats have a reluctance and uncomfortability with the acquisition and the use of power."
"And so the next time we have that power, we need to use it."
“In service to the American people.” (of course)
Putting aside the ludicrous spin that Democrats are reluctant to use power unlike Republicans — they mean this.

AG Merrick Garland, March 7, 2023: "Our complaint alleges that JetBlue’s proposed $3.8 billion acquisition of Spirit violate Section 7 of the Clayton Act. We allege that if allowed to proceed this merger will limit choices and drive up ticket prices for passengers across the country.
"And we further allege that the impact of this merger will be particularly harmful for travelers who rely on what are known as ultra low cost carriers in order to fly. Those include working & middle-class Americans who traveled for personal as opposed to business reasons & who must pay their own way. By acquiring Spirit JetBlue will eliminate the largest ultra low cost carrier in the United States.”
