@scott_scientist Yeah. I read the studies and wonder just where they think they are going. If you take all the studies done in the studies you field over the past 20 years, and try to see an inteligent pattern. I sure can't find the one.

@ColinNoden In my personal experience, action plan is irrelevant. Approach is irrelevant. Dialogue is irrelevant. Content is irrelevant. They’re just not interested in changing/learning anything from anyone they perceive to be less than them.

Genuinely interested in public feedback on this subject. Speaking to the community has definitely not been a waste of time. Many people have been open and receptive. I’ve learned a lot from them and they’ve learned a lot from me. I’ve even helped a few get into remission. But do you think it’s a waste of time/effort trying to explain observations to our researchers, critiquing incomplete study designs, sharing new perspectives when they have no desire to hear any of it? We need our researchers to listen/learn from community experiences to get back on track to the most efficient and productive science to help the millions of people who are suffering. But after many years of advocacy, even the ones who “listened” weren’t actually listening, because they just want to conduct the same experiments they’ve been doing their whole lives and aren’t looking to change. So it’s it the best possible outcome to forgo trying to talk to them, and just focus on patient community discussions, which have been productive? Interested to hear your thoughts.

@ImmunityBio reached out to invite me to submit a full application for the clinical trial they are currently running for Anktiva. I was pretty surprised because based on the initial screening cssifm.org/long-covid-2/ I thought I would be ineligible as I did not have one of the required blood tests. Given that they knew this ahead of time - maybe there is a different process for those that are International (I am in Canada). It will involve moving to California for some time - but I would do pretty much anything to make this happen if I got in. I am going to complete the full application and see what happens.
