@Burke_Franklin_ @BRamseyKSR It would be praised at places like South Carolina or Vandy. The problem is that’s what pipe has turned this program into.

@BRamseyKSR I disagree any other program that had zero HS recruits and no other returning production would be praised too hard for the Moreno/Wilkins/Zoom trio, personally.

As I always say, two things can be true at the same time. 1) I'm frustrated with how this off-season has gone and I'm very concerned about the general direction of Kentucky's recruiting ability. This is not a championship-caliber roster as currently constructed and the 'Cats either missed on, or were not involved with, the top names that COULD have created a championship-caliber roster. 2) This roster is NOT bad. I've echoed what @MattSakR2NG and others have said...if any other program landed Zoom Diallo & Alex Wilkins, along with Malachi Moreno, their off-season would be generating praise. There have been positional improvements at the 1, 2, 4, and 5 compared to last season. I think this team can be better and is more talented than last year's team...the issue is they needed to get quite a bit better and I think they've only gotten very marginally better. It is "only" May 4th. The roster doesn't need to be championship-caliber today and nobody hopes that it works out more than I do. However, due to the current track record, I am admittedly less than optimistic that the results will be what they are expected to be and NEED to be at Kentucky.

@JayHazzeKY @CollectiveCave Those are absolutely fair questions. I just don’t think he can give an answer that would please anyone. Including myself. He is much too awkward to give a straight answer to just about anything asked so it wouldn’t end up good for anyone.

Quit burning bridges, crazy that has to be said to an educated person. Also, NO coaching staff is talking right now. The former used to do this for a reason, he explained that....yet here you are pushing more negative.

I still have some years playing but I’m going to start doing my homework on the NCAA NIL era in my free time. With this much money being thrown around I think a GM for every program should be required. Thoughts? 🤷‍♂️

It’s the first week of May, Kentucky is still looking for that star talent to add to their roster, specifically at the 3 and they never reached out or put serious effort to a guy that just went to your biggest conference rival at the exact position you need. It’s just blunder, after blunder, after blunder time and time again.

It would be nice if someone associated with Kentucky Basketball would say something to the fans It can be a Tweet, a pre-recorded video or just a smoke signal…but something to a fanbase desperately wanting something positive, strikes me as a good idea
