@balc_top I would love to see a chart like this for past seasons because what I think it shows is the parity in the league, and I think that’s an important point that’s being missed in discussions about the success or lack thereof of our season. But maybe it’s always like this & I’m dumb.

I really appreciate that people have high expectations but when that creeps into unrealistic expectations, that can have a detrimental impact on things, I think.

@Colorado_Toffee @BT_1878 Out of all of them only Ancelotti was the only one out of his depth at the time. Time has proved Silva to be a decent manager but Dyche and Lampard are never going to amount to better than lower level managers.

Wasn’t long ago the club was in meltdown & around the relegation zone.
Now I have a timeline full of fans pissing their nappies because we just fell short on Europe & wanting Moyes gone - despite the fact most of the managers we had between his tenures were a fucking disaster.

We should always demand the best but also have to recognize this isn’t an overnight project. We’re headed in the right direction.

Losing the lead twice in the manner we did is so dissapointing. Reality says this is our first season in a while where relegation has never been a possibility which is great, but the heart says Europe was very close and within touching distance. Genuinely gutted weve let it slip.

@efc_cain I don’t disagree. Do think it’s easier to learn from those things tho in a year like this where you can look back & say if these 1 or 2 things change in a handful of games, that’s Europe. Harder to learn that when just staying up feels like an accomplishment. If that makes sense.

@Colorado_Toffee It’s been good in terms of an improvement (which is all you can ask for every season) however it’s been disappointing as we’ve been in a good position and individual mistakes have cost us

@HeathHixson @the_transit_guy They're widening a runway and seeking appropriations for a proper control tower after flirting around with the virtual tower for a bit. The terminal is ready (and I think constructed with expansion in mind if I'm not mistaken).
