@luxemiaa Everyone expects everyone of us to go “oooh, aaah” over their crotch product. Ma’am, sir, the product of your enjoyment shouldn’t be at my expense.

@im_unknown04 Where on earth is a civilian allowed to don military gear? Just name one single country. Problem we want to operate outside common sense & existing laws.
To answer the last question, personal freedom ends where state security is threatened.
English

@Mike42726245 How’s this a downside? The government doesn’t have to spend. It’s in the interest of the investor to fix it as soon as possible.

@Daddy_chololo @BuyoyaJonah What kind of car dealer has vehicles in his name? We should really thank the skull. For without it, your thoughts would freely float away unihibited and make everyone around you more stupid
English

@BuyoyaJonah I understand the politics btn the govt and the ECL family. Most of these properties are inflated in value by ACC and it doesn't make sense.
Dalitso was a car dealer and most of these guys don't pay tax but the system is porous.
I wish we could fight the current corruption too

Former President Edgar Lungu's son, Dalitso Lungu, had only worked two jobs and for 36 months (starting 2012) only. Varun Beverages and ZRA. At these two jobs, he earned a total of K137,803.25 only. By the time his father left office, he owned properties worth K24m, which included 79 cars. The properties have been forfeited to the State and it was agreed that he will face no conviction. In his defence, he claimed the properties were gifted to him by his parents.

@iamKobbyG @AfricaFactsZone By definition, is it not a blouse? The difference is we don’t dispute that it’s a skirt by design. The fact that we have a traditional bae for it doesn’t negate that it’s a skirt
English

@AfricaFactsZone Imagine wearing a vest, skirt with hair bonnet but you still have the nerve to call our Ghanaian Regal Fugu a “Blouse” 😂😂😂😂😂💀

English

@KK_Asante A blouse is a versatile, loose-fitting upper garment traditionally worn by women. What you call it on your country is up to you
English

Dear Zambians,
This is not a skirt. This is called Fugu, and it’s beautiful. Thank you !
#FuguIsNotASkirt😁 #Zambia

English

@wode_maya Those ugly looking people with trapezium shaped heads can't tell the difference because of their ignorance. We Ghanaians don't engage in banter with such primitive minds, we aim higher
English

Dear Zambians,
The outfit worn by our President is not a BLOUSE. It is a Ghanaian traditional attire known as FUGU, also called Batakari. Our President is intentionally promoting the local garment industry both within and beyond our borders, unlike your President, whose suit is not African. It is unfortunate that many of you , despite having access to smartphones and the internet, still choose to remain ignorant.

@KNtimpa38390 @LauraMiti The church didn’t receive the gift.
English

@LauraMiti Once upon a time I donated money to your organization Kwela, you never probed me of the source, Catholic Church like all charities depends on gifts.
English

@EronduMaduforo @reubenmuhindi Do you know the difference between mere theft and sabotage?
English

@reubenmuhindi On that one you will blame poor economy and the poor salaries he’s paying. NLNG Bonny doesn’t lose as much due to stolen items even though it’s a much more bigger facility. Bcos they pay their staff well.

QATAR Airways — my worst travel experience ever
This afternoon I arrived at Heathrow to fly to Dubai, transiting on to Kabul. 2 hour layover, not leaving the airport.
At check-in, they asked for a UAE visa. I was puzzled but explained I didn’t need one when transiting. I showed my onward flight and boarding pass to Kabul, to no avail. After back and forth, checking my d’osier of travel documents, they called a supervisor to ‘use discretion’ to clear me to board.
The supervisor arrived with a power-trip energy. He paced around, spoke in airline jargon and refused to clear me, “it’s government to government policy,” he said.
His word was final.
Eventually, time ran out and the flight about to close. I gave up. Then, on last minute, the supervisor called Dubai immigration for clarification. “Dubai says I need to send them an email with your details.”
Dubai immigration confirmed exactly what I repeatedly explained for over an hour: I did not need a visa to transit (on both my passports). At this point, a new supervisor arrives, makes some calls, and says the flight is “too far into boarding” to check me in.
They put me on the next flight, 5 hours later, and charge me £457 for “no show” and other fees.
The power abuse was breathtaking.
What hurts the most is that the supervisor who had the discretion to do the right thing, to use judgment, but chose not to, was a fellow African. A Nigerian.
Far too often, Black people in foreign institutions are an executioner than lifeline. Never in between.
The irony is that I always use @emirates. But for this trip, I thought of trying something different.
Never again on @qatarairways. NEVER!
I would recommend walking than using Qatar. I feel what it must feel to cheat on a loyal and amazing partner in search of a “new experience” and end up paying the price.
