Milestone 2 - Early Preview With Milestone One now live, development is already underway on Salvium’s next chapter. A new mining variant, RandomX-Salvium (rx/salvium), is being introduced to increase CPU and memory requirements, making large-scale botnet mining significantly less attractive while remaining accessible to legitimate miners. We’re also developing SPARC Anonymous Payment Channels (APC’s); a key step toward more advanced financial functionality. Building on the existing return_payment mechanism, APC’s will allow multiple payments of any size to be sent back to a user over time without exposing wallet identities. This opens the door to use cases such as automated payouts, recurring yield or interest distributions, streaming payments, and more complex application logic once smart-contract-like functionality is introduced. Additional components (as well as a surprise or two) are also in development for Milestone 2, which we’re not ready to disclose just yet. More details will be shared as progress continues. 🚨MiCA Rules Force EU Crypto Firms Toward July 1 Cutoff - mexc.com/en-GB/news/104…
The EU’s #MiCA transition period ends July 1, forcing crypto firms to have full authorization or stop serving EU clients.
The move closes an 18-month grandfathering window, putting pressure on smaller operators to either comply fast or exit the EU market.
As MiCA deadlines in the EU draw closer, exchanges are scrambling to secure the required authorisations. Salvium is already strategically positioned to remain listed throughout this transition.
Many privacy-focused chains that have failed to solve the long-standing “privacy versus regulatory alignment” challenge are likely to face exclusion from MiCA-regulated exchanges, including @MEXC as it heads towards MiCA next.
Luckily for Salvium, we anticipated this shift years ago, so we decided to build the first ever privacy-centric blockchain designed with regulatory readiness at its core.

x402 protocol hit 1m+ transactions in 15 days on base powering coinbase's agent.market. 167m total transactions processed. 100k+ services registered. the AI agent payment layer is real and shipping. the problem: no token, no fee capture mechanism, and every single transaction pays gas to base's sequencer. coinbase is using x402 as free infrastructure to drive base revenue. all the usage accrues to coinbase, not to you. if a governance token drops this becomes the most asymmetric launch of the year. until then you're watching someone else's moat get built in real time.

Hi @milesdeutscher and @cz_binance Salvium was the first to address this major issue at the protocol level last year. By redesigning the transaction model itself (CARROT, SPARC, view-key based selective disclosure), we enabled default privacy while still giving regulated venues the cryptographic tools they need to satisfy MiCA obligations. This approach has now been independently validated in a legal opinion confirming Salvium's eligibility for listing on MiCA-regulated exchanges and its compatibility with Article 76(3), specifically because exchanges can still identify holders and transaction history when required - without undermining user-level privacy by default.
