@seryy_09 If you have a server to host on I can throw together the quick script that would let you do this (if no prebuilt solutions exist that accomplish what you're looking for already). Or google sheets should be good enough if you don't already have a server/don't want it in discord.

Need help from discord mods with serious ball knowledge what would be the best, simplest way to setup a system for tracking peak elos? I'd assume it's minimal manual input on entry and then (I'm clueless)

@Command_Attack @ChaosRain Picking support top and perma roam was literally meta no less than 2 years ago and now it’s not even feasible because the system would insta ban u if this was a thing before.

Sorry all, I picked Lulu mid. A classic counter to Akali in seasons past that still stands. Unfortunately it has a 0.4% pickrate and people forgot or didn't know about it. I didn't read every reply from a Twitter account so your free win got terminated and I got punished. Oops!

@kaisFable Agreed! I believe the same about items. You would assume that's a natural "next step" if additional anti-griefing measures were to be implemented. Maybe they'll add a similar system for that in the future. Maybe not though since that's "in game" vs "before game".

@Command_Attack I think it is a dangerous precedent to set with league being as complex as it is even from a pure mathematical standpoint, many builds/champs are hidden op as stated by riot. Why put the judgement in the hands of the community when riot knows they can be wrong?

@emiliacosplay @Command_Attack Not to mention, even if Lulu is a counterpick, imagine you have never played Lulu before and it’s an Akali otp. I’d much rather not have a first time Lulu counter picking lane only.

@Command_Attack @FabtonVT Because it also affects mainroles. You would not be able to pick champs at all if you dont have the mastery. That is decently distinct from "cant play extremely niche picks with low winrates on a very low mastery". It would affect every player in the game instead

@meepoforleague @FabtonVT If the intention is to stop people from hostaging lobbies, specifically targeting things you haven't played before, then how would this not meet the intention? Why is it different if I first time riven mid which has enough playrate to not be considered offmeta?

@Command_Attack @FabtonVT Like yeah they can do "dont put champ on list unless x mastery" but thats not the real intention of what this system is anyway. It would be a broader restriction than what they are looking for so its more harm.

@Command_Attack @FabtonVT Because even if they wanted to riot cant code the client well and would get even more false positives knowledge is just on the player for having an alt. When you change around the information the game has on you there are naturally both pros and cons. Also lowering mastery now 2

@Command_Attack @FabtonVT The logic is that if you have no games on the champ chances are that you don't know these counterpicks well enough for it to be likely over just picking it to troll CS. Alts are a different discussion but it makes sense for them to not be calculated

I feel like i'm going insane with the counter pick discourse. there are some lanes that are so easy they play themselves if you have counter pick and are remotely semi competent. yeah you know what, i do want my autofilled mid to first time galio into akali.

@GriffinHQ_ Should I be allowed to lock nidalee jungle first time? If so, what is the difference? You probably have a higher win rate on enchanter main filled lulu mid compared to top main filled jungle nidalee?

if its an off meta pick you would have to have a history of playing it. and thats completely fair. respect your teammates and play to win. if youre playing something off meta and dont even play it stop trying to act like youre trying to win. even for on meta stuff you shouldnt first time, the difference is its more likely it transfers over due to playing the champ in arena/aram etc. or alt accounts so its harder to say you should ban someone. playing lulu in arena/aram is not gonna transfer to laning and its more likely that its troll since its not common

@GriffinHQ_ None IMO, but I know that might be an unpopular opinion. How many riven games should be required in top lane? What about Ornn?

@Command_Attack How many lulu mid games do you have to warrant being able to pick it in ranked. because it is a good precaution to not allow it when it is most likely troll and especially when you dont play it. if you had games on it and did well you wouldnt get banned

@Command_Attack you worded a lot of this very well. another thing to consider is: how does everyone think these off meta picks / counters got discovered in the first place? SOMEONE had to lock it in when the pickrate was abysmally low. now theyd get punished for it. it's just a bad precedent.

@Tawster_Tawney @monokiller I think there's a difference between "the game ends and I lose LP" and "my account now has an infraction on it".

@Command_Attack @monokiller By this logic might as well cancel remakes if 1 person votes no. Or let surrender vote go through if only 1 person votes yes as long as he is the highest Mmr player in the lobby. 4 to 1 votes might not always be fair but it’s the closest you will get to fair.
