The leaders of the Battle of Blair Mountain in 1921 faced various charges, primarily related to treason and murder. Following the conflict, the state of West Virginia charged union leaders like Frank Keeney, Fred Mooney, and others with treason, and hundreds of miners were indicted for murder. However, most of these leaders were eventually acquitted: Frank Keeney, Fred Mooney, and others were acquitted of their charges. The trials, which took place in Charles Town, among other locations, resulted in acquittals for many of the accused. The legal battles, however, left the United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) financially drained and set back their organizing efforts in the region. William Blizzard, one of the prominent leaders of the march, was also acquitted after being charged with treason. His trial and subsequent acquittal were significant, with several sources noting that this outcome was celebrated as a victory for the miners' cause. There is no mention in the provided sources of a formal pardon being issued to these leaders. Instead, the emphasis is on their acquittal in the courts. Therefore, it can be concluded that the leaders were largely acquitted rather than pardoned for their roles in leading the labor uprising at Blair Mountain. This story is relevant. It's relevant to the regions history but also relevant to our situation today. The pardoning of the J6ers is one of the most pressing issues today on January 20th, the inauguration of Donald Trump as our next President. Pardoning the J6ers will allow for healing, and it will allow for relief on the part of the families of those accused. This is a bright and beautiful new day, despite the frigid temperatures. Let's go into this new chapter in American history with the intentions of building up our nation, of strengthening her, of increasing her influence and making America great again.

This is Matthew Ayegra. 11 years ago, he was murdered by Islamic extremists along with 20 others. He wasn’t a Christian. But after seeing the faith and courage of other captives refusing to deny Christ, when he was asked to renounce Him he reportedly said, “Their God is my God.”

I am trusting in my Lord to save the 80 acres of church property. I do not have a lawyer for court next month. I have paid the taxes and used it for 30 years . A very distant relative who never met my partner in the church who died without a will, is trying to take it. The main message of Exodus 14 is that God brings salvation and victory through His power, urging His people to trust Him in impossible situations ("The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" - v. 14). God protects and rescues, forcing even enemies to acknowledge His sovereignty.  I have rescued many people and sheltered them here through the years. Mother's with 6 to 8 kids. Dad with 7 kids and many veterans who needed time to heal in God's country. I have supported this church mostly myself through the years. I fed and sheltered those in need without ever charging. I'm not ready to quit. I have an autistic 19 year old in a cabin who is doing great here. He was locked in a mental hospital as a teen but is at peace here. Please pray for our church healing center. I have told God I am just here to serve and his will not mine. I've also raised hundreds of children here through the years. My main purpose is saving children.

With a deep sigh and full understanding that I'll be called a panican and a non-believer after I post this. I did not "get" a pardon. I served my entire sentence without getting any type of credit or time served for good behavior like others. I paid my entire fine, did all of my community service and pissed in a cup in front of a stranger to test for drugs even though it was not a drug related crime for over a year on a misdemeanor trespassing crime. I could not travel outside of my district, I could not live as a free man, my college acceptance was denied, my gun rights were denied, and everything I have built from that has come from a place of understanding that you do not win by going to war. You win by planning it.

After today’s chase in rural Arkansas, I noticed a biker pushing his motorcycle along the side of I-57 in the dark more than three miles from the nearest gas station. Went and bought a jug of gas to help get him safely on his way, but when he tried to start the bike, the battery was dead, but thankfully, I had a jump pack with me. I can’t even describe how thankful he was. It’s not all about the storms out here. Helping when help is needed is a big part of my motto. Now I just need to find someone who needs a gas can because my car smells terrible haha

JUST IN: Man accused of killing his daughter's rap*st wins the Republican primary for county sheriff in central Arkansas. Aaron Spencer, who is awaiting his murder trial, received over 53% of the vote in Lonoke County. Last year, Spencer announced on social media that he was running for sheriff because the legal system had "failed." In 2024, Spencer allegedly woke up to find his 14-year-old daughter missing from her bed. Spencer searched the neighborhood and found his daughter in a car with 67-year-old Michael Fosler, according to court documents. He then chased the car down and drove it off the road before shooting and killing Fosler. Fosler was facing over 40 child s*x crime charges involving Spencer's daughter when he was shot. Spencer's wife says their daughter was "targeted, groomed and ultimately r*ped by the boyfriend of a family friend." "I’m the father who acted to protect his daughter when the system failed," Spencer said at the time of his announcement.

Hi friends, I need a kidney transplant (again) this video is me asking. I’m very close to needing dialysis, but I’d much rather forgo it. If you can share, like, repost, whatever it is to help spread the word I’d be eternally grateful. I hope this will reach the right person. The link in my bio will take you to my website and donor page. This video was made possible by Jonathan Pickett, and my wife with support of my family and friends. Many thanks 💚

I received this message from one of Captain Cody Khrok’s best friends today. Captain Khork was one of the 4 soldiers killed in Kuwait. “Josie, I saw you are posting about some of the service members who passed away in Kuwait. It would me the world to me to share more about Cody’s life, pictures, stories. Cody was the best of us. He always wanted to be in the military and came from a military family. He moved to my neighborhood in Winter Haven Florida in middle school. He was my best friend and grew into family. He called my mom, mom and she raised him for a period of time in high school. I used my job at Publix Supermarkets to get him hired and he worked with me at the local store a couple of years in collage. He lived with me after basic training for a period of time before buying his dads house in Winter Haven and deploying regularly  He graduated from Lake Region High School in Eagle Lake (2008) and Florida Southern College in Lakeland  (2014). He enlisted in the National Guard in 2009 and later commissioned as a Military Police Officer in the Army Reserve in 2014. During his service, he deployed to Saudi Arabia in 2018, Guantanamo Bay in 2021, and Poland in 2024. He also spend time deployed in Korea and Africa but I’m unsure of the exact years.  He received numerous medals and honors recognizing his service, leadership, and commitment to others. Some pictures of that below.  Cody played paintball semi professionally on a team for a period of time, enjoyed video games. He was a huge Florida Gators football fan and Tampa Bay Lightning fan and we went to many games together over the years.  Friends will tell you he was an amazing person, hilarious sense of humor, and most importantly the life of the party. Everybody who worked with him in the military looked up to him and said he would lead from the front. He helped many proper through the darkest times in their lives and was part of the best times.   He was also unapologetically American which I think he would say is the most important part.” And what an impossibly brave, good, and generous person Cody was. Well done. Good and faithful servant. Rest now.

I’ve never made a prayer request in my 14+ years here on Twitter/X, but here goes. A few weeks ago, our 14yo grandson Drystan was having persistent abdominal pain. His mom, our daughter Heather, took him to InstaCare, figuring it was some kind of intestinal bug. They ran blood tests on him, then said, “You need to get him to a hospital immediately.” He has acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The 5-year survival rate for teens/young adults appears to be ~66% (thanks, @grok, for the solid research), but it’s still going to be a long, hard path. He will be in the hospital for the next six months or so, getting five rounds of chemo, with a slight chance of coming home for a few days between rounds. Prayers requested for him and his parents, Michael & Heather.

Knoxville is a beautiful city with an ugly problem. City and county leadership turn a blind eye toward our growing homelessness problem as the homelessness NGO industrial complex takes millions of our tax dollars to make the situation worse. City and county leadership must put our actual citizens first. End the open air drug use, end the crime problem, and end the homeless takeover of our dying downtown. It’s time to put Knoxville First as we preserve our heritage and secure our future.
