@brandonpiller1 You sign him for 4-5 hopefully without any no trade clauses. Then in 2-3 years if our prospects turn out you can trade him with term. Zub hopefully has 4-5 years left. It depends if Yak takes his spot in the top 4 in the next 1-2 years.

I don’t like the idea of trading Jordan Spence for the Sens. He is a solid, young, 2-way, right shot defender that fits in on any pairing he is put on. The second you trade him you now need to find a new Top 4 RHD. #SignSpence

@WhiskeyNick95 If we are trying for a big trade we have to leverage our RHD depth. We have now with Yak we have 5 NHL RD that is the highest demand position. If and I mean big IF we resign Spence then can flip him and maybe Zetterlund for a solid top 6 winger I would really look at it

@GraemeNichols Do we consider how many pucks beat Anderson. In retrospect we beat Anderson more than they beat Ullmark. They just cleared a few off the line and the post saved 10+ goals above expected. We weren't as good as them but we were close.

Theme of the series. They need another winger for Stützle, but there's no clear path on how to land one. Can try free agency, but that's not an easy path. Ottawa does not have a ton of draft capital or prospects to move in a deal either.

This just wasn't their year. Sens are going to do something special in 2027. Look at their history on years that end in 7: 1997: Qualified for the Playoffs for the first time in modern franchise history. 2007: Made the SCF. 2017: Made it to Game 7 of the ECF. #GoSensGo

@jackrichrdson To be fair we had 2 AHL defenseman every game. Do we need change up front yes but I'm happy with what the D pulled off the last 3 months. Ullmark also is a top tier tender.

I do not care about internal growth. You cannot get swept and do nothing. I want change. Fucking brutal.
