The work of Lohgaon-Wagholi Road, which had been pending for a long time, has finally started today. Since last six months, we have been continuously trying to solve the problem of this road.

For years I have sent multiple complaints to @PMCPune regarding the signals on the busy Senapati Bapat Road (partially broken, some lights not working). Finally, it took the #G20Summit to get these nicely fixed. A sad example... PMC knows how to fix things. Priority is missing.

#Pune Once upon a time - Pune was a cycle town. Today - it is dangerous to cycle on the roads of Pune due to heavy chaotic traffic. Even where cycle tracks exist - they are encroached - or motorcycles and scooters drive on cycle tracks - so it is dangerous to cycle for commuting.

@aparanjape Commonwealth spruce up was way better. The sign boards and footpaths made during that time are still used till date, with very less wear and tear.

Last time some #Pune roads, intersections, side walls were spruced up so nicely? ... Commonwealth Youth Games 2008! We had to wait for 14 years... Thank you #G20. If only those delegates visit more areas in and around the city! And keep coming back😉

Have zero clue as to what @PMCPune is doing with the G20 Beautification in Pune. - Newly painted dividers have already gone red. - Random walls in major chowks being painted with modern art. - Old perfectly fine footpaths being demolished at the last moment. (1/2)

- Freshly trimmed plants being completely removed for temporary flowering plants. All this while - Worse unleveled roads - zero lane markings and zebra crossings - non functional signals - Lack of Direction Sign Boards - Flex and banners galore. #G20 #Pune

How it started: Perfectly manicured bushes along divider on SB road in Pune. How it is now: the bushes uprooted for no reason, new plants planted. Fake tree money for G20 spent in planting real trees by destroying perfectly good plants. Win win!!! <sarcasm> @PMCPune

There is absolutely no explanation on why #Pune Water supply department takes two days every few weeks for apparent "urgent repairs". The #PMC administration needs to explain why this system still exists even after years. @PMCPune #WaterCut
