Tottenham release 2024/25 accounts and our database updated accordingly Revenue: £564.9m, a new record. Up from £528.2m driven by Europa League prize money (£34.7m) and continued growth in commercial and non-football event income. Commercial income of £276.7m includes sponsorship (£160m), merchandising (£39.3m), and other commercial revenue (£77.3m from NFL, concerts, boxing, tours, catering etc.). TV/media fell to £127m from £165.9m due to finishing 17th vs 5th the year before. Wages: £255.8m, up from £221.9m (15% increase). Wages to revenue ratio 45%. The increase reflects squad investment and performance-related payments linked to the Europa League win. Includes £13m charge for senior management long-term incentive schemes and £6.7m in past director compensation for loss of office. Other Expenses: £197.2m, up from £161.4m (22% increase). This is one of the highest figures in the Premier League and reflects the sheer scale and cost of Spurs' diversified operations. Running NFL games, Beyonce concerts, boxing events, a stadium tour, the Dare Skywalk, F1 Drive, conference and events, catering, retail distribution, pre-season tours and a technology transformation project all come with significant cost of delivery. The commercial model generates big revenue but is far more cost-heavy than traditional football income like TV money which drops in with virtually no operating cost. EBITDA: £112.3m (down from £144.9m). Despite record revenue the drop reflects higher staff costs, higher other operating costs, and the fundamental point that much of the new revenue comes from high-cost commercial activities replacing low-cost UEFA and merit-based broadcast income. Depreciation: £56.9m. Important note: Spurs report under IFRS and revalue the stadium using Depreciated Replacement Cost (valuing it at £1.5bn vs ~£841m historical cost). Stadium depreciation alone is roughly £42.5m. This makes their depreciation figure significantly higher than comparable clubs reporting under FRS 102 and is worth bearing in mind when comparing across the dataset. Player Trading: Purchases £197.2m, Sales £67.0m (both cash flow basis). Net spend £130.2m reflecting the major summer 2024 squad rebuild. Profit on disposal of intangible assets £52.6m (Rodon, Parrott, Emerson Royal, Skipp, Lo Celso, Hojbjerg). Net debt: £831.2m, up from £772.5m. Predominantly the long-term stadium financing package (weighted average maturity 17.6 years, weighted average coupon 3.07%). Includes a 30-year tranche with bullet repayment in 2051. Loss before tax: £120.6m (2024: loss £26.0m). Driven by a £23.4m non-cash warrant revaluation loss in finance costs, the poor Premier League season (17th = significantly lower merit payment), heavy amortisation, and £11.6m in exceptional items (onerous employment contracts). Net finance costs of £70.2m (2024: £47.3m) include £29.1m bank interest on the stadium debt, £11.0m net notional interest on player trading deferrals, £5.7m notional interest on commercial deferred income, and the £23.4m warrant revaluation. Ownership funding: £35.0m new equity from ENIC during the year. Post year-end a further £100m equity injection was secured

@jayjaycal4 @IrelandFootball @SkyIreland I wanted Azaz taken off in normal time too. But he moved into deep role before Molumby went off which had a massive impact on the game. Similar to the Hungary game. We were really struggling to get the ball out of defence. When Azaz went back he was able to do it well.

@claretnblue1972 @EireVideos There is no way that is a foul. I’m trying to imagine and I don’t think it’s possible to commit an arse driving foul on someone. Maybe if it was on the halfway line of a fast break and a defender jumps in front of the forward running at full speed.

@EireVideos Lads, take the green tinted glasses off. That’s a free unfortunately. Browne drives his body into the Czech lad lifting him off the ground. As needless as Manning’s foul for the penalty as Brady has won possession and there was no danger.

@EireVideos It’s noting like Manning’s. The Manning one was a really stupid foul. Browne hasn’t done anything wrong here at all. He put his foot down in front of the Czech guy and the Czech fella has to go through him to get to the ball. Browne is leaning forward to not fall over.

Seriously the amount of ‘Best XI’ posts that I see from AV fans with this guy’s name omitted is ridiculous. He’s the heartbeat of this team, and has grown into a worthy leader of it. For all the talk of how much we missed Bouba and Youri, we missed SJM equally imo! #avfc 🟣🔵

@IFBMedia Welcome Harvey. Good to know that your girlfriend’s stepdad is Irish too. I’ll be sure to bring that up if anyone is upset about you walking into the team. 😂

@TMFScottP I would certainly imagine it is a factor. Although it does raise some questions about to why its impacting older people less. Today's 40 to 49 year olds are largely as heavily entrenched in social media as their younger counterparts.

@KuperSimon Any kit from 1986 to 94 is good now because of the nostalgia factor around the peak of international football, regardless of how it was received at the time.
