This is not normal - the increase in ticks visibly on us already is alarming. We have grasses kept low between mowing and grazing animals, wood are being cleared by mulching now - chickens are free ranging around the house and through the fields and still the ticks are showing. Yes - we live where there are ticks and they are normal - but this is more pressure than I’ve seen before.

As an African watching all this,I have to say it loud. Trump is speaking tonight claiming the Iran strikes will finish in two or three weeks once they open the Strait of Hormuz. But come on, why are American lives and money always spent fighting wars that seem to protect certain allies more than anyone else. We in Africa see the pattern every time. Oil prices shoot up, our fuel costs double, food becomes expensive, and our economies suffer while the big powers play their games in the Middle East. They hit Iran hard, talk about quick victory, yet history shows these things drag on and create more chaos. Is this really about stopping threats or is it about keeping control of energy routes that benefit the West and their close friends first.Many of us here wonder why Africa gets lectures on peace and stability when our resources get disrupted by conflicts we never started. Are we getting the full truth or just another round of powerful nations deciding for the world while the rest of us pay the real price in higher living costs and instability. What do you think, is this ending soon like they say or will it pull everyone deeper again.

Our boys are off to die for Israel, again. Not Israeli ground troops, just us.
