Today we honour Jack and Paul Sykes, two young lives lost 11 years ago to domestic abuse. Their mother, Claire Throssell, made a promise to her boys to change the law and protect other children. Today, that promise is fulfilled. The Government has repealed the presumption of parental involvement, ending the legal assumption that abusive parents should have contact with their children.

A landmark moment and a huge tribute to the many survivors who have fought to end the danger and injustice in the family courts.
