@dheller91 Intentionally misleading or unintentionally ignorant?
English

@AvPOdysseyDB I can only assume Bishop did the knife trick after cutting the cake.
English

@Man0nEarth @gunnerblog @TheAthleticFC You really think this was information that wouldn't have filtered through to Villa except via James on X?

@gunnerblog @TheAthleticFC Genuine question. Why - as a fan - would you break this?
Let it come out at 6pm naturally.
Just gave Emery 2.5 hours to plan ahead.

🚨 Declan Rice expected to miss Arsenal’s match against Aston Villa tonight after sustaining a knee injury in 2-1 victory over Brighton.
#AFC hopeful it will be short absence but don't want to risk aggravating issue further.

@WarPath2pt0 The first episode - "Brothers Keeper." I watched it live on my 16th birthday in 1984. That clip is great, but it's incomplete. It cuts out the conversation he has in the phone booth. It's important because he thought he was going to certain death in a shootout with a drug lord.
English

@Gravenb3rch @afcDW @SensiblyChelsea Also, nobody has mentioned the attacking players that are missing. Havertz, Odegaard, Madueke. Hard to imagine they won't offer a different dynamic that just isn't available to the manager right now.
English

@afcDW @SensiblyChelsea If teams could defend their set pieces, you’d have drawn 0-0 to several teams that should never be getting points against you. It’s not a ridiculous game plan for a team to want to take that 0-0 but then they ultimately fail to defend a set piece.
English

Either we’re so incredibly good at football that no one can get the ball off us and they’re all forced to sit deep, or they all choose to play low blocks because they’re boring anti-football teams.
Rival fans, take your pick.

Premier League, Defensive Actions avg height faced 2025-26 Arsenal's opponents avg defensive action have been closest to the goal that they have defended this season.
English

@Gravenb3rch @afcDW @SensiblyChelsea That assumption ignores game state. You can't assume a team who win a game 1-0 would not have pushed for a goal had they not scored.
But if you do score, and you're in a packed schedule of games, then there's no shame in taking your foot off the gas and just managing the game.
English

@PurelyFootball When every team - including City - park the bus against you, you have to find a way.
English

@tobbyosore @LeGrove Game state is relevant here. If they hadn’t scored that SP goal they’d have pushed on more to get the breakthrough.
They had the lead and are in the middle of playing every 3/4 days so maybe were happier to soak up whatever Palace had to offer.
English

@LeGrove 1-0 winnings from set pieces is not sustainable.Soon Arsenal will run out this luck.they are commiting the same mistake they did last season and ended up with so many unnecessary draws.attack needs to sharpen up and score more goals from open play
English

Incredible 3 points. Against the backdrop of LFC and City (nearly) dropping points... it cannot be overstated how important it was to grind out a win against a great Palace side, with heavy legs from Atletico. That took character, maturity, and control
Title-winning intentions... absolutely monstrous win.
English

@CavLFC98 @thaway73 @SkySportsPL When Odegaard and Havartz (or Jesus when fit) play the press is right up there. They've been missing this season.
English

@thaway73 @SkySportsPL Deffo not wengers posession football lad nowhere near or bielsas high press.
English

@_halfspaces Might have if they’d finished the game off sooner and Gabriel didn’t have to come off. Instead Saka and Eze were called on to get the second goal.
No drama.
English

@Aletheon_1 @_Afcbanks Exactly this.
He wasn't having a good game, looked shaky. It wasn't just the corner giveaway.
It happens and it was 100% the correct thing to do to take him out of the firing line when you have Saliba on the bench.
English

@_Afcbanks He made several miss placed passes. Not just conceding the corner. I’m a huge Mosquera fan, but Arteta was right taking him off. It’s a clear message he has come to a serious team. Making multiple errors won’t be tolerated.
English

People need to be honest about today’s game. Arteta subbing Mosquera at halftime made it look like he was the problem, but let’s be real—apart from conceding that corner, the guy was rock solid at the back. If it wasn’t for that one moment, nobody would even be calling his performance poor. Players make mistakes, that’s football. The real issue wasn’t the corner itself, it was how we defended the set piece afterwards.
Our backline completely lost its shape: instead of holding positions, too many players rushed to cover Newcastle men at the far post. That left Gabriel isolated against Woltemade, who had the clear advantage and punished us. When you leave one defender exposed in such a situation, you’re always going to be vulnerable. So yes, Mosquera gave away the corner, but the goal came because of collective defensive failure, not because of him alone.

Repurposed by Ripley to fight the Xenomorph Queen.
The power loader isn’t just a piece of gear - it’s character development wrapped in steel and servos.
💬 Was this the most creative piece of tech in the film? Did Ripley stepping into it give you chills?
