@GFFN He's not wrong. Saliba makes quite a lot of errors. Said for time that Gabriel (as of now) is the better CB.

@head_shoulders2 @Man0nEarth @Sargon_of_Akkad Unless you have English ancestry you're not English. Few would call Tolkien an African or Bantu. He was legally a citizen of the Orange Free State but had English ancestry. To suggest that he was African, Bantu or Zulu wouldn't be accepted by most people today.

@lukestanley03 AI pic or not. Joke or not. This is the truly bleak side of 115. It isn't about Liverpool and Arsenal. Every club's fans in the country have been denied special days and moments as a result of monopolistic sportswashing. Two teams compete today that are cheats. Nobody cares.

@_henrytreasure_ @AmosMurphy_ All well and good. That just isn't how its managed. Officials have allowed such blocking, grappling at set pieces (not GK arm holds) as otherwise reffing these moments is impossible. They saw them and judged they were not fouls. If people want consistency, they provided it.

@Man0nEarth @AmosMurphy_ because if the first foul is punished how it should be in real time and the ref blows his whistle and gives it then the foul on raya happens while the ball is dead and therefore irrelevant

@_henrytreasure_ @AmosMurphy_ You can't grab a GKs arm while he is catching. Even if someone is 'holding' you. You just can't. That's the clearest foul and the most impactful foul, and the ref missed it. The day AFC score a goal with a player holding a GKs arm like that as they try to catch, let's talk.

@Man0nEarth @AmosMurphy_ anyway this discussion is pointless as ofc you will defend arsenal no matter what which is fair enough but I just think it’s an extremely harsh decision on West Ham that could cost them massively in the relegation battle and they’ve got every right to feel hard done by

What this shows is (and it's evident from real-time experience as well) that the VAR and refs already make up their minds regarding certain situations, and they then spend the next 5 minutes justifying them. This itself contradicts their 'clear and obvious error' VAR mandate, as you don't need 5 minutes for clear and obvious errors. The clip begins with "Possible foul on the keeper," and they got so tunnel-visioned into willing it into existence that they disregarded everything else happening in the box. Incompetence rather than corruption, imo.

Mic'd up video of the disallowed goal for West Ham vs Arsenal. VAR literally telling the ref to check fouls by Trossard and Rice before the foul on Raya. The way VAR was huffing like they weren't sure, and when you're not sure, you don't give a foul.

@UnitedRo4d @nqatpod Everyone does it so the refs have to ignore it unless it impacts the ball. This didn't. Anyone who had that exact goal stand against them would be absolutely fuming, and you all know it.

No Question About That
REF: I don’t think there’s much in that at all, I’m happy with that. VAR: Yeah, OK. REF: That’s nothing.

@Jarvmarda10 @RedMarrow_ They didn't see it that way. They haven't seen it that way all season. You can't hold the arm of a keeper playing the ball I am afraid. This is pure derangement 😂

@_henrytreasure_ @AmosMurphy_ Are you serious? The ball is usually the single point of analysis re a foul. E.g. 'did he get any of the ball?' 'Who got the ball first?' Raya was playing the ball and was unafirly prevented from doing so by a clear foul the ref missed. He saw the others and wasn't moved.

@Man0nEarth @AmosMurphy_ No I mean can’t, as in you can and it won’t be given, since when did fouls start getting prioritised on vicinity to the ball? The fact that raya is fouled closer to the ball doesn’t overrule the fact that rice/gabriel/trossard all committed fouls in the box, foul in the box = pen

@NOTLFCJ__ He was told straight away and explicitly that the review was for a foul on the GK. He wasn't sure about anything else as none of it was clear and obvious. They told him anyway and they cleared it as per consistent application last two years.

@NOTLFCJ__ @AfcWill10 They are given when egregious and/or have a matetial impact on the outcome. Been consistent all year on that. They didn't think Rice or Trossard met that. Pablo 100% did.

@AfcWill10 Forget this specific incident, that was a foul. I’m talking about the general nonsense we see at corners every week when some are given and some aren’t

@markgoldbridge @Rory_Talks_Ball Weasel words. Your first issue was apparently incosistency in that specifically Arsenal 'get away with the same thing'. Now you are calm and accept that is bollocks you have found a different (non) issue - the process. You and your overlords just want a finale where AFC choke.

@Rory_Talks_Ball This is a VAR issue Rory. Take your Arsenal hat off, watch what he was shown. He got hardly any of the Trossard incident, and was shown the Raya foul first. He made the right choice based on what he was shown.

Just listened to the VAR audio from Arsenal vs West Ham. Feel sorry for the ref tbh. They review it, highlight two issues, then get him over, don't show him the full incidents and don't show it in order. Based on what he saw he makes the right call

@markgoldbridge @Rory_Talks_Ball His Arsenal hat is welded onto his head Mark... there is no objective reality with Gooners... they are totally delusional, delirious at finally looking like they are going to win something even if they did it purely by cheating.

@_henrytreasure_ @AmosMurphy_ Do you mean can? It is false to say that prioritising fouls that have a largest material impact on outcome at setpieces sets a precedent for any 'off ball' foul. We all know the difference.

@Harry_Buckley17 Because he released him just after the kick was taken and Donnaruma was completely free to challenge for the ball, unimpeded. Nice try though. 3 days later this is the best you've got?!

@_henrytreasure_ @AmosMurphy_ It doesn't matter because of this thing called a football and where the football was. Have you ueard of the football? Took them one replay and 40 seconds to see it was a clear foul on the only player who got close to ball contact. Theb they faffed about.

@AmosMurphy_ Massive cock up from VAR, diverts the ref away from even considering the foul from Rice
