Top tier Consultant ACP. Ex-PA. Quad registered Nurse, Physio, Paramedic, Pharmacist. ACP MSc & years of experience. Does anyone need a senior review?

HF nurse - I’ve seen this patient for heart failure and made no changes to what the GP did. Discharge back to GP for rapid heart rate to “consider rate control” WHAT’S THE BLEEDING POINT OF YOU?! This bureaucracy is maddening. FFS!

@HillsBekki15323 @Megsenmumdr @medicalmodelbri @jim_crawfurd For a review to be safe, the Dr needs to take their own history and do their own exam, otherwise you have no idea about the accuracy of the info you are given and whether massive red flags have been missed. Which surely renders the ACP Ax an expensive waste of time?

We’re all in this position because the UK government is actively replacing doctors with other health workers. It’s now becoming more frequent to hear GPs being made to reduce their sessions by their practices. But sure, make the IMGs the boogeyman and go as far as being racist!

New band 7/8a job ad for a PA to: ‘contribute to pt care where relevant and exercise a high level of professional judgement. This will include taking medical histories, undertaking physical examinations, diagnosing and explaining conditions during consultations.’

NEVER have sex with your co-workers. Not at work, not outside work. Neverrrrrrrrrrrr, everrrrrrrrrrrrrr at all.
