A significant number of the undecided vote is going to fall into Hong’s lap because she is all the rage right now. The rest will go to Barnes because he has name ID. By going out of his way to diminish differences with her, Crowley ensured very a few of those people will go to him. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fran ends up clearing 50% on August 11.

Concerts on the Square this week, the last of the season, has been cancelled. Last week’s was cancelled after being taken over by protesters. A rep from the Chamber Orchestra announced their group stands with the protesters as he cancelled last week. A number of other events have also been cancelled, a CHAZ has been set up on Willy St, small businesses have been blocked, and protesters continue to arrive. No livelihood, especially of those totally sympathetic toward the cause, is safe from the mob.
