“Market condition” yeah okay. They raised the price of the Nintendo Switch and the Lite a while back and those came out in 2017 and 2019. Personally the Switch 2 isn't even worth it at launch let alone with the price increase. No one to blame but Nintendo themselves and maybe AI for the RAM. Just my opinion…

@master1ous @IGN No offense but until it's verified by Sony and others I'm taking this with a grain of salt. Sony has been taking Ls for some time now and I wouldn't put it past them. Same thing with Xbox and Nintendo.

Evidence is mounting that what's described below is what's occurring with #PlayStation's temporary "DRM". After the 14 day refund period (day 15 and beyond), tests show PS digital games ARE switching to a permanent non DRM licence on sign in. SpawnWave was NOT able to run newly purchased digital games that were less than 14 days old, without Internet and with his CMOS battery removed. Whereas user BigGoji WAS able to run a fairly newly purchased digital game that was 19 days old, without Internet and with his CMOS battery removed. So with this and other tests, it appears the licence is indeed changing to a permanent non DRM one after that 15th or 16th day of signed in check-in, at least based on different user investigations and tests.
