There are legitimate objections to gerrymandering bans, districting boards, and so on, but Democrats do at least have a proposed alternative while for Republicans I'm not sure what their solution is other than "We should get to do it and they shouldn't."

People are pointing out that $120 oil today isn't the same as $120 oil was in 2008, given that wages have almost doubled. But the fact that wages have almost doubled means that shortages won't get resolved at that price. Will need to be much higher.
