@ArunNambiar Well, was the 40 months announced & tenders awarded without even completing the land acquisition? His own government was in KA and they had 2+ years to sort out LA. This is lethargic to say the least. And not that the current SG has done anything better. As always, poor planning.

How do u expect them to work without the land acquisition being done and state not even appointing a director to the company which is supposed to be executing the project. Land Acquisition for the corridor 2 was done in early 2026 and corridor 4 on May 2026. You don't expect them to build the railway line suspended in air right ?

Wow! A certain man in June 2022, few months before elections, promised BSRP will be completed in 40 months. It's been 48 months now. Not even one route between two adjacent stations have started yet. How do we trust you guys? Don't keep hiding behind State Govt as usual. Action!

This will be a game changer in decongesting Bengaluru’s roads. It will reduce the number of cars on our roads, make travel times shorter and more convenient. This is how traffic jams are solved. Not by tunnels - short or long.

As promised, a new direct train from Bengaluru to Mumbai is flagged off today. 30 years after the first one began, in 1983. Another, faster Vande Bharat overnight sleeper will begin soon, in a couple of months. Thanking Union Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji for launching the SMVT Bengaluru-Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus bi-weekly Express service today. This new train will improve regional connectivity and contribute to the economic growth of Karnataka and Maharashtra. Today, I also requested for a high-speed rail corridor on this route, via Davanagere & Hubballi, which would greatly reduce travel time and generate immense opportunities for people in the region.

What Bengaluru needs is Mass Rail Transport systems, not Tunnels, to solve the congestion problem.
Metro + Suburban Rail + Last Mile Connectivity is the solution.
The Bengaluru Suburban Rail project is now being done on priority with an aim of providing Intermodal Connectivity in the city.
Watch Union Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji’s views on this today while launching the Bengaluru Mumbai Bi Weekly Express Train.
