Over the past years, I have mostly been a FIN/RE-twit lurker. Despite not being an active member it has been an incredible learning tool. As trite as it sounds I feel the candid dissemination of knowledge on this platform is altering the trajectory of my life.

@JimEspy My understanding is the satellite option will be available this fall. Definitely considering it. I've heard nothing but good things from users so far.

@Corp_Cowboy I gave them a call a year ago when they only had the cell based technology. They looked me up on the map while I was on the phone with them told me they couldn’t help so thank you for the update.

There’s some places we could really use I haven’t looked into this particular brand, the other brand that’s highly advertised here uses cell technology and the places that we really need don’t have cell service.

Trump's ridiculous $10B lawsuit against the Treasury Department and IRS rests on leaks from May 2019 through Sept 2020, when Trump was president and thus had formal responsibility over those agencies. So Trump in personal capacity is suing agencies now in his charge for their failings when they were previously in his charge.

As a centrist, let me explain why I hate both sides... The left: they tax way too much. They are inefficient at actually helping people and get in the way of growth. The right: they're murdering people, enabling tyranny, crushing alliances, and nuking our economy.

In the last hour, "T2" posted this same photo five times, replying to Pete Hegseth, Steven Miller, Bondi, etc. Just this photo, no text. Retired 4-star Gen. Tony Thomas led the nation's Special Operations Command.

*Really* struggle to relate to Americans who long for a strongman. You want to have to ask Daddy for permission to open a business or bribe one of his cronies to get your kid into school or whatever? Bc that's what life is like under authoritarian governments. You were born free, by the grace of G-d and the sacrifices of the Founders and the generations after them. Have some self-respect!!

@FreightAlley Shouldn't this be managed through industry level regulations? Also how do you separate the impact of immigration and general weak market?

As a libertarian, I was always been pro immigration and have an enormous amount of empathy for people that are born in very poor and unstable countries. I know how fortunate I am to be born in America. But over the past few years, my perspective has changed. I've seen what unrestricted immigration has done to the trucking industry and how it has destroyed the livelihood of millions of veteran American truck drivers. It has made the trucking industry an economic wasteland and made it impossible for legit operators to make a profit and survive.

Very liberal people are 8x more likely to say political violence is justified than very conservative people (25% vs. 3%). This isn’t a “both sides” problem, and we are never going to solve it pretending otherwise.

[Warning: Non-real estate post] At this truly awful moment, would ask everyone to keep in mind that our adversaries are actively working, here and on other social media platforms, to further inflame the political divisions in our society. You *definitely* should not assume that some horrific post from a random anon account is actually from a fellow citizen. (For what it's worth, the vast, vast majority of Americans with whom I have ever come in contact are basically decent human beings.)

I am so proud of the @TexasHDC and the work that they’ve done. Their willingness to put themselves on the line to highlight the current assault on our democracy has set an example for what all of us have to do.

I’m sorry—but it is very difficult to maintain a high opinion of anyone who thinks this is fitting conduct for the President of the United States. He embarrasses the country and makes his supporters look like fools every single day.
