Why doesnt the US use their OLD MINES 2 hold data centers? #Sweden does! Instead of building new facilities, the old mines provide a ready-made setting w/natural advantages.

Now that we have a sovereign wealth fund, we need to do what Norway did. Buy up a majority stake in a Canadian oil company and control it. Its profits can go in to the fund.
Repeat the same process with a natural gas company, pipeline company, and mining company.

My reaction to today's announcement: I'm not against a sovereign wealth fund. Far from it. But I think we need to ask ourselves why we keep needing to create newer and newer agencies and programs to get around our actual, basic problem: we're a bad investment.
