This is insane. A New Jersey bill proposed (A3968) would require any driverless robotaxi to be equipped with cameras plus two additional distinct sensor types capable of detecting obstacles even if cameras fail (LiDAR, Radar). This bill wouldn’t allow Tesla to operate in the state since they use a camera-only approach. The requirements from the bill are: • 50,000 supervised miles with operators • Triple-sensor hardware before any robotaxi goes fully driverless. Sen. Andrew Zwicker: "At this point, I don't think the evidence is sufficient that a single sensor with software can handle situations that humans can." What? Have these people seen anything Tesla is doing right now? This bill is absolutely ridiculous. Link to oppose the bill is below.

@MstrHappyJustin @Samsung That is the exact one I’ve been using in my Teslas for many years now. I have two 2TB ones and I swap them out when they get full. I’ve done that once lol. Also note I’m in Calgary where our winters get very, very cold. And it works perfectly.

Just purchased a larger hard drive to store my Sentry data. My flash drive is full already. I asked Grok to see which one is the best for Teslas…. It spit out the @Samsung T7 Portable hard drive: 1TB. If anyone was interested and was in the same boat as me. It has included a USB-A to USB-C connector to attach to our Teslas. It was time 😃

@DevinOlsenn @MKBHD The ONLY thing I think is missing in this argument is Tesla’s willingness to do things just for the troll factor. They would sell one cybercab to Marques, for $29,999 on December 31 just to win the bet. Create a new troll tier above max called “Elon”

I keep seeing people post photos of Marques Brownlee (@MKBHD ) ever since Tesla released the video of the Cybercab driving on the road. I think people are misunderstanding the bet... As much faith as I have in Tesla - I do not see a world where "Tesla successfully delivers a Cybercab to a consumer for $30,000 or less before 2027" (which is the bet that Marques made). I am quite confident that before the end of the year we will see cybercabs available for customers to ride in via the robotaxi network... but you will not be able to buy a cybercab online for under 30k before the EOY, that's not happening. Curious what you all think about this.

UPDATE: Tesla fixed the error and reversed the Unmatching. Tesla sent a new invitation to schedule delivery and my friend Tim immediately confirmed, and he is PICKING UP HIS NEW Model Y TOMORROW at the Toronto delivery center! Huge thank you to everyone at @tesla and @tesla_na for fixing this. Tim has been a longtime fan of Tesla and he is finally getting one. He told me it hardly feels real but he is so excited for Full Self Driving! He and his family will be taking it on a huge summer road trip across eastern Canada in the next few weeks right after he gets a few Tesla Accessories installed. Thank you @elonmusk @cjbarchet

Hey @tesla my good friend Tim in Ontario Canada has been waiting months for his Model Y. It finally arrived and he was messaged with only a few hours to schedule and respond! When he tried to schedule delivery repeatedly the system said there were no appointments available. Now Tesla has UNMATCHED him from his order and postponed delivery for months!! He has a huge family roadtrip booked for Summer Break all planned around having the new vehicle and the lifesaving technology of FSD. This is super not cool. Please help. @tesla_na @elonmusk @cjbarchet DM me for the reservation number.

@davill I’m not sure this is the most efficient way but huge kudos to BO for being innovative and finding ways to push forward when the need arises.

We're not rebuilding the same pad for New Glenn. We're moving to a horizontal/vertical hybrid configuration to get us flying again this year at 36A.  We were already working on something similar for 9x4 at 36B. Let me explain what that means. We mate the stages horizontally in the Integration Facility (IF). Then we bring the integrated vehicle out to the pad, use a crane to perform the vertical breakover, and mate the payload once New Glenn is vertical. This new ConOps has the added benefit of increasing our flight cadence as well.

Our baby wanted to come to the world a little ahead of schedule. Baby Orson was born almost 9 lbs! He is a big and handsome fella and mommy and daddy are smitten. 💙 we had quite a rollercoaster birth with many parts of it traumatic… 18 hours of unexpected labor and pushing at 38 weeks ended in a c section. Luckily mommy and baby are safe and healthy and we are so beyond grateful for our son. And I’m so lucky to have such a supportive husband.

Upcoming releases of FSD will remember your parking preferences, so that the car goes to the right location at your home, office, school drop off, etc. Destination parking is by far the biggest reason people now intervene with FSD. Critical safety interventions are extremely rare.

I’m astonished more people aren’t raving about Tesla’s full self driving. I no longer need to drive my car. The only time I take control is to back into my garage because it’s down an awkward ramp.
