For those #NUFC fans on here who are incessantly perpetuating this narrative that Eddie Howe isn’t a good coach - I’d encourage you listen to Rafa Benitz’s recent remarks about Anthony Gordon. He said Gordon couldn’t run more than 20-40mins a game when he had him at Everton. Not only did Eddie turn Gordon into one of the best and fittest wingers in Europe, he also encouraged him to play centre forward because he recognised the potential in him to adapt to a more central role. Gordon was brilliant tonight, in particularly his hold up play.
