Tonight’s “Buzz’s Bedtime Story” is a nightmare. It’s the tale of an ancient, smelly witch, with a blood curdling cackle, who invades a castle and takes over.
I’m going to recount the first time I ever met Hillary Clinton. It was on Marine One, helicoptering to Camp David for a weekend, with the First Family.
I was brand new to the Military Aide position and this was my first trip to Camp David. It was a Saturday morning and I was a little trepidatious, to say the least.
Of course, I’d heard all about Hillary from my predecessor. In my few weeks of “in briefings” before I assume this volatile position, her name came up frequently.
He’d warned me about her temperament and her propensity to go off on any and all staffers, including her husband. In fact, during my “in briefings” he told me that I could upset Bill Clinton, and he’d brush it off.
But if I were to piss Hillary off, she’d rip my heart out. Now, I’m a fairly intelligent guy so I registered it. Don’t piss her off.🤣
On this particular morning, and every other time on a presidential trip, I’d always boarded Marine One last, letting the First Family board first along with the doctor and Secret Service agents. I always used the rear steps, with “the football.”
My seat on the helicopter was always immediately adjacent to the president and “First Lady.” On this particular day, Chelsea was also coming.
I sat in my assigned seat, set the “football” down and approached Hillary. “Hi ma’am, I’m Major Buzz Patterson. I’m the new Air Force Aide. Wonderful to meet you.” I also introduced myself to Chelsea and sat back down.
Hillary was curt and quiet. She nodded without saying a word. Chelsea was rude and looked at me like I had 3 heads. The disdain for the military among these two was palpable. My predecessor was right,
“Well, that was awkward,” I thought to myself.
It never got “not awkward.” 🤣🤣🤣

LAREDO – The @TxDPS recovered 20 illegal immigrants hidden inside a truck tractor during an Operation Lone Star traffic stop in Webb Co. On Monday, May 18, 2026, just after 6:00 p.m., a DPS Trooper conducted a traffic stop on a white Volvo truck tractor on IH-35 near mile marker 28. During the stop, the driver attempted to flee on foot but was immediately arrested. A search of the Volvo revealed 20 illegal immigrants concealed in the truck tractor's sleeping area. The driver, Miguel Angel Velazquez Chavez, 25, a Mexican national, was charged with evading arrest and smuggling of persons. He was booked into the Webb Co. Jail. The 20 illegal immigrants, including four minors, from Mexico and Guatemala, were referred to the United States Border Patrol. DPS’ Criminal Investigations Division (CID) continues to investigate the case.

Anatolian Shepherds are large, powerful dogs who had been bred for millennia to be loyal and protect both their flock or herd and their family.
They and Kangals have the strongest bite forces among domestic dog breeds at ~700–750 PSI.
If Snuggles had been acting viciously, he would have done serious damage but it most certainly doesn’t sound like that is the case here.
How was animal control even made aware of the incident?
If it occurred on their property and Grandma isn’t seeking any legal action or for the dog to be killed, I don’t understand why they are involved🤬😢🐕🐾…

Here we have another Veterans family dog - a working dog on their farm - scheduled to die for his first bite incident on his families property!
Even the person he bit (grandma) is desperate to save him.
He was doing what he was supposed to do - protecting the family!!
He's been held for 8 months now in the shelter. The family and their children are devastated!!
Be aware - if you go to the ER or your doctor for a bite wound - they will report it! It doesn't matter the circumstances.

THIS is exactly why we refuse to let this die down.
We have a platform now, and we are going to use it to fight for families like ours and dogs like Lucy. Because no family should have their life, finances, peace, reputation, or livelihood destroyed over weaponized complaints and government overreach.
It is absolutely infuriating to watch people with power and authority exercise control with zero common sense, zero understanding of homesteading or working animals, and zero regard for the human beings caught in the crossfire.
The real world is not sanitized suburbia. Some of us raise animals. Some of us work our land. Some of us built our lives through sacrifice, grit, and self-reliance. And we should not live in fear that one bitter, stupid complaint or unfair legal technicality can unleash years of harassment, intimidation, court battles, and devastation onto an innocent family.
What happened to us should alarm EVERYONE — regardless of politics.
We are not backing down. Not now. Not after everything this has cost our family. Not while Lucy still sits in prison. And not while these laws continue giving the system the ability to steamroll ordinary people.
We will keep speaking. We will keep fighting. Until Lucy is home and beyond!
