@paulinenjoroge As a country we lack so many basic things. One thing I can start with is ADDRESS SYSTEM... every plot, every house, every facility should have a well defined physical address. Every highway, every road, every street should have a well defined name or number.

It’s good to aspire to be like Singapore. But before we dream big, we must first get the basics right. Development doesn’t work when we skip fundamental steps. Singapore’s transformation started with very simple things like clean streets, proper sanitation, good drainage, and strict enforcement. Order came first, then growth followed. Meanwhile in our case, our capital is drowning in filth, poor waste management, bad drainage, and unsafe sanitation. A city that wants to look like Singapore cannot be dirty, disorganised, and unhealthy. What is even more worrying is the rise of illegal, non-gazetted dump sites across the city. These dumps are serious health and environmental risks. I recently came across one somewhere on Likoni road (attached photo) that was so large it almost felt like Dandora had been moved there. Even more concerning is the claim that some of these illegal dump sites are protected by garbage cartels. If we truly want to transform our country, we must start with the unglamorous basics, like restoring order in our capital city. Clean streets, proper waste management, and firm enforcement matter. Real progress begins with order. We must first fix the fundamentals. We must first fix our capital city! The city county government is failing us.

I cannot fight my brother who is already in government. Instead, I am working to mobilize more numbers to add value to him in 2027 . Remember, he was once a mole within the opposition, even when one opposition leader publicly attacked him. This is a clear indication that our brother is a mole. Two brothers serving in government will never fight each other. The difference is I hold government position my brother is playing his cards from outside to divide opposition to continue holding the government firm . So if you must crucify me then my brother is no different. We are all fighting for opportunities for our people.

We need to make real noise about shylocks and predatory lending trapping Kenyans in endless debt. People borrow Ksh 500,000 and end up paying back Ksh 1.5 million or more. Many victims can’t even go to court because they can’t afford a lawyer. Worse, there are serious allegations that some of these lending companies are linked to powerful politicians.

WE LOST IT THE DAY WE WENT TRIBAL. In my mind it is not even about which county can or cannot be won by who. That is of little concern. The moment we the youth surrendered our battle to the opposition to turn it into a tribal arithmetic of which tribal combination has more numbers, I knew we have lost. And I always said it, no one can defeat a seating president by using tribal matrix especially if he has over 200 billion budget for his campaign. He will buy all the tribal kingpins except the tribe that hates him passionately and quickly and successfully run a campaign against one tribe. But the opposition knows what they are doing. They know even if they lose their parties will have MPs and they will negotiate with Ruto in 2028. My vision for a win in 2027 against William Ruto was to lower the importance of tribe and insist on accountability. He would have lost the battle of accountability. He cannot account for money, he cannot account for lives lost, he cannot account for diplomatic blunders. But the day the youth surrendered their objective and issued based struggle to tribal kingpins in the opposition WE LOST. We have 2 years. We can still discover our mistakes and make a comeback. But if don’t, we will watch tragedy on television in 2027 and the swearing in of a person we will not be sure if he can vacate power after this.

Coz FYI, the youths have been sidelined yet they fought for reforms that gave birth to broad based government 🤔

William Ruto can only be defeated by a combined youth force. The rest of the politicians are just hoping to strengthen their parties to get enough members of parliament to use for negotiations after the election. Unless key figures in the youth space decide to come together and offer leadership to the leaderless and a party to the partyless, we can continue watching helplessly. Bila hiyo. I assure you 100%, Ruto will win and no one in the opposition will loose anything. They will be very well taken care of because their greed is known, they are not new. I know you think the youth will overwhelmingly vote for the opposition thus defeating Ruto. You are wrong. The youth are not excited by people who have been in government for several years and done nothing. If those are the options, most youth will not vote. And if you think you will join the kawaida political parties and change anything from within, you are dreaming. In those parties, the youth are used as bloggers or goons not leaders. Systems are tight and tickets are expensive. Let us form something we own and control. Kama sio hivyo ni sawa tu. Kila mtu aishi maisha yake. Mwenye ako na pesa akule raha yake, mwenye hana kazi wala pesa akule shida yake tupatane mbele. Power haitaki hii mchezo tuko nayo. Power is war. The reason I complain everyday is because I know I cant do it alone. You need to share the vision with me ndio iwezekane.

President William Ruto says he has told Members of Parliament that to resolve the issue of roads in Kenya, the government shall create a National Infrastructure Fund, allocate it Sh1.5 trillion, and build 20,000 kilometres of roads. Ruto: The citizens are right; there is no way we can develop as a country if there is no mobility, if we don’t have infrastructure. I want us to make it clear that all these views the citizens are making, we must focus on them, and we must have a programme on how to deliver.
