Gerstner seemingly implies that OpenAI is at $35B of ARR, as the as FT and Semi-Analysis have both pinned Anthropic at $45B. So in the first 4 months of 2026, OpenAI has added ~$4B of ARR a month (as they ended 2025 at $20B) and likely accelerated in recent weeks with 5.5 and Codex momentum.

@quantian1 Related problems and a very demanding software requirement. Supposedly there‘s some special sauce to mitigate some of those problems but who knows, they haven’t really shown this off in public unlike NVIDIA.

Very concerning update from France related to the #AndesVirus outbreak linked to the MV Hondius.
Understanding this patient’s interactions and exposures will be critical to better define transmission dynamics and potential person-to-person spread.
This also highlights why exposed contacts are being monitored/quarantined for up to 42 days given ongoing uncertainty around exposures, incubation, and secondary transmission.

We're now at 10 confirmed positive cases from the ship. Which makes sense and aligns with: 1) prior dynamics from land-based outbreak (1 infecting many; no close contact required), and 2) what a doc on the ship shared about his experience that later cases were not 'close contact'

Earlier today I spoke with the doctor on the ship and he confirmed something. CDC messaging continues to say "prolonged, close contact" but that contradicts: 1) what's in the literature, and 2) what's happening on this ship. --> the doc told me a few who got infected/died DID have direct contact w/ very sick patient while treating them, but 3 who tested positive did NOT have direct physical or close contact - only shared time in a few spaces on the ship where people congregate (dining, lecture area)

Testing positive without symptoms brings up a number of questions
Is this an asymptomatic case or someone that hasn’t developed symptoms yet but is already shedding virus and this was picked up because of daily testing
And what does this mean for the possibility of transmission without symptoms - pre or asymptomatic transmission
