🚨Regarding Mitchell Griddy Marner: What’s the biggest difference from this year and years prior in the playoffs? He has played against far less physical top 6 forward cores in Utah and Anaheim vs years prior (Florida, Tampa, Boston). And it’s giving him confidence to make the plays he’s making. Griddy is a world class player no doubt, but the match ups have been way more favorable and tailored to his style of game. A leopard doesn’t change its spots. He’s just been reaping the benefits of less physical hockey against Utah and Anaheim. Not having to play against a bunch of dogs you’d find in Mike Vick’s backyard has made the world of difference for Mitchie. And that’s the truth. -People’s
