@NepSwirlRedux @KingTengenn I’ll add to that and say I didn’t find aang and kataras romance to be overly interesting either I just don’t think they write romance stuff very well. Except for with Sokka they just kinda nail that shit for some reason.

I can’t speak for everyone, but for me, if folks discussed their dislike of Korra in a manner befitting their age, then it’s whatever. Just saying shit like “I get what they were going for, but I just don’t fuck with this type of character”. Boom. That’s fine. It’s a cartoon.

If memory serves since they were nomadic there were surviving Airbenders that they hunted down over time so theres a chance the avatar finds a remaining airbender before the firenation did

im pretty sure they said somewhere that this is actually the intended point of the bubble, to hide the killer for a few seconds. ive wanted this annoying ass bubble gone for awhile and im glad to see a few more people talk about it

Katara is a far superior water/blood bender than Amon Aang's son schooled Zaheer in the art of Airbending. Zaheer needed his buddies to jump him and even at that, Tenzin was still keeping up Kuvira was scared to square up with an old, frail Toph who was way past her prime Only Unalaaq can pose a real threat to the Gaang here...the rest are fodder. Korra struggled against all of them cos her friends weren't on her level (or maybe she didn't trust them enough) and a tree cannot make a forest

Oh right when he’s practicing after he had the knowledge of being the avatar. You can’t just pretend to bend an element and it work that isn’t how bending works it requires actual discipline.

Once again, aang never attempted and the second he did, he bent both water and fire on his first attempt. By your logic of mastery, he should not have been able to bend fire before earth because of the avatar cycle
