Turns out it’s actually quite a nice shade of Red under all of that dirt & grime 😆 Interior has come up really nicely too, magic trio of a good All Purpose Cleaner, Autoglym Leather Cleaner and Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber care always come up trumps 🧽🫧

@LeahRebeccaUK A lot of the ES badged gear isn’t very special. There is a tipping point though. The 700 series amps are great. The little 3000 series are special, and the top end cd players are built wonderfully. Some (not all) of the power amplifiers are excellent. That A-91D though….

@LeahRebeccaUK It would have to be very high end ES to top the 90 series. The tuner is a legend, and the cassette deck is a work of art. I can’t actually think of any that I’d choose over that set unless you’re talking 88 Esprit, but that’s older, far more rare and extremely spendy 😎
