This Chinese humanoid robot just shattered the world record for a half marathon, finishing in 50 min 26 sec.
This video shows its crash just meters before the finish line where it had to be picked up by a team of humans. The robot is from Honor, the smartphone maker and Huawei spin-off. This robot was teleoperated while others were autonomous. It seems like all the robots had battery swaps along the way.

I am deeply alarmed that British military bases will be used in Trump's bombing of Iran - these attacks violate international law.

I was born and raised in a Muslim country, and still living in one.
I had access to the best education my parents could give me.
I chose my school, my partner, my clothes, my friends. I’ve traveled the world, I own my house, car, and business. I live as freely as any woman elsewhere, maybe even better.
& under Sharia law, I divorced my partner in a week, got all my rights.

Hi Adil, Sharia Law is not social justice, welfare, fairness, charity or cohesion. In fact, it is the opposite. Under Sharia Law, six year old girls get sold off to men old enough to be their grandfathers, then raped and beaten and impregnated. Under Sharia Law, women are banned from speaking, showing their faces, going to school, and going out in public. Under Sharia Law, millions of babies are born with severe congenital defects due to inbreeding and first-cousin marriage. Sharia Law has no place in civilised society. Followers of Sharia Law don’t want to coexist with other populations. They want to overpower and destroy anyone who doesn’t subscribe to their ideology. They don’t respect the laws of other societies or even recognise our right to exist. They would kill all “infidels” in a heartbeat if given the power to. So no, Adil. Sharia Law isn’t any of the things you claim it to be. It is oppressive and immoral and evil. No one who supports the introduction of Sharia Law is a friend of Britain.
