@CrishTimi @RyanSAdams Bitcoin neither has a burn mechanism, nor anywhere close to the fee income that Ethereum has. It also uses PoW, which is far more costly to sustain than PoS, because of the overhead of electricity and hardware depreciation.

No, ethereum isn't like the other chains. Ethereum is profitable. Over the past 18 months Ethereum generationed almost $1 billion in earnings. These earnings were distributed in a permanent token buy-back program called "the burn". This puts Ethereum in the top 20 entities globally in terms of buyback yield at .23%. Ethereum is only 9 years old. ETH should be over $10k based on this alone. This happened so fast the world has no idea. A bunch of TradFi analysts still think crypto is just a meme.

@DrMemebrain @RyanSAdams Yes, BTC does not have a burn mechanism per se, but according to Chainalysis ~3.7 mil coins were lost in the first 10 years (can be considered burned?). Won't BTC become deflationary in 10 years due to this eventually? (the amount available will only drop)
