No one knows what the state of the world will be by then.
I have never paid over 3% on a rate in 20 years of home ownership. It’s not that hard to read the signs.

Canada 5 year bond yield up a whopping 30bps this week, and 80bps over the past month. Tough timing for the record number of Canadian mortgages renewing this year.

@ronmortgageguy I renew in July, but my bank is offering me early renewal now at either 3.79% (3yr fixed), 3.99% (5 yr fixed) or 3.7% (3 yr variable). Rate held til next Wednesday…. Thoughts? Thanks!
