@paulswaney3 The goal of this consumer based economy is to get people spending whether they have the money or not. This is what they wanted from young people so they could still blame them for this sad inflationary state.

In the Navy, I ate chicken thighs and rice (when I wasn't in the galley) Now I too watch people making $70K spend $28 on lunch every day and call it a cost of living problem. It's not. It's a discipline problem.

The older I get the more I understand why people who have their acts together are willing to pay a fee every month to a country club so that they have a social outlet for their family where the dregs of society are filtered out.
