Today, Christopher, Deyanna, and Paige Ostrouchko were indicted by a grand jury for allegedly assaulting journalist and Turning Point USA contributor Savannah Hernandez, while she was lawfully reporting on anti-ICE protests outside a federal building in St. Paul. Hernandez was allegedly surrounded, physically assaulted, and shoved to the ground — simply because she was identified by the defendants as a conservative journalist. That is NOT “peaceful protest.” These deplorable actions as charged in the indictment will not be tolerated in America, and this Department of Justice will always punish unhinged acts of political violence.

The right is going to choose it's own reality. But, it's worth saying, these SPLC allegations are just that. Allegations. We have courts for a reason. To prove if government allegations are true or false. The Trump DOJ is poorly run, political and consistently claims things that are not true. @LegalEagle documents this relentlessly. I need a conviction, or reputable media to report this out to believe any of it.

I’m a pro choice absolutist but I also believe that a fetus is a person. As an L&D nurse I can’t say that a baby isn’t a person two seconds before it leaves its mother’s body but magically becomes one the second he/she comes out. If that baby never takes its first breath is it then never really a person? But I ultimately believe that a woman always has the right to choose what happens to her isn’t body. Both things can be true.

I'm getting dogpiled for this Tweet. I'm going to ask you to listen to my entire view on this. Before I say more, I want to share something. I have repeatedly been asked to become an advocate for banning healthcare for trans children. I've been offered paid positions where I am sent around the country doing media. Of course I said no. Because my strongest belief, more than Israel, or the Democratic Party or even feminism is that it is child abuse to not help a gender dysphoric child. My core conception of transsexuality is that it is a birth defect. Not a fun, alternative way to live. It is a horror I would not wish on my worst enemy. I don't know what y'all's childhoods were like, but mine was basically confusion about not being a girl until kindergarten. Trying to accept and act like a boy so my parents would love me, and then a total mental breakdown at puberty as my body mutated into something horrific and testosterone started shorting out my brain. I failed 7th grade. Every relationship around me disintegrated, I tried to kill myself repeatedly. And then my life basically turned into a decade long poly addiction until I transitioned. My adult life has had success, yes. But there's a constant treadmill of surgeries and therapy trying to undo that damage, psychological and physical. I don't think any child should have to go through that horror. I am staunchly pro-abortion, and I have no issues with parents aborting children with other extreme birth defects. Trans people will always exist. We deserve love, we deserve healthcare, we deserve lives with dignity. I didn't ask to be born this way. I accept what I am, and I'm proud of the character I've shown facing it. But I still think this is a birth defect that is uniquely psychologically damaging. And I should have said this, abortion doesn't have to be the only option. Just identifying trans children could lead the way to depoliticizing our health care. targeted mRNA therapy could stop us from ever undergoing male puberty. Maybe y'all disagree. But I don't see how anyone who had early onset gender dysphoria could not understand were I am coming from.
