Without being too graphic:
There is a common practice in Judaism that involves Rabbis using their mouths during circumcision.
These Rabbis have contracted herpes, due to their lifestyle. And then give those herpes to babies.
Many of these cases have been documented in NYC and Israel.

Honestly, almost everything we do in relation to media, conferences, publications, marketing, etc., pales in comparison to Ligonier. If the LCMS seriously wanted to start attracting young men and vibrant families with a passion for the Word and doctrine, they need to steal Ligonier's marketing folks.
I don't say that to be mean...but it's just the truth. There's many things that they've done really well over the years, that we could benefit similarly from, but we refuse to ever look outside or own sandbox for ideas.
Their video and production quality of their conferences and video series are years ahead of us in some respects.
