@rmurtugudde Research Project: create knowledge, solve novel problems. Collaborative and participative leadership can influence a research team. Operational projects: Create product and value, need efficiency, coordination, and quality control. Need directive and supportive leaders

Research happens with teams; leadership is not super critical. Freeloaders become co-authors. Thesis/paper qualities vary a lot. Once a paper is published one can hail teamwork. Deliverables are papers so quality is not guaranteed. But operational projects? Is it just team work?
