We would also like to thank the 10 mentors from different entities who supported the hackathon. They conducted over 12 hours of workshops, also guiding the participants throughout the event. We remain committed to empowering teams worldwide, creating more opportunities to build, test, and scale new ideas.

The Cardano Hackathon Asia @IBWofficial 2025 Edition highlighted the strength of India’s builders and their drive to build on Cardano.
We're proud to share that the first Cardano Hackathon Asia exceeded the KPIs set for regional tech events under @Cardano_CF's Summit proposal. The goal was to onboard 300 new developers. India significantly went far beyond that baseline.
We received over 5,000 applications and shortlisted 748 individuals across 225 teams, surpassing our goal by 149%. The shortlisted participants gathered in Bangalore for a 30-hour Grand Finale from November 29th to 30th.
The scale, output quality, and speed of iteration confirmed the depth of talent in India and its growing influence on Cardano’s technical growth.

Agree! This is a milestone in crypto and a missing core infrastructure in web3. Selective disclosure unlocks trillion dollar industries that have so far shied away from crypto. ie healthcare and education. Separately this unlocks further use cases for tradfi too.
