Started working on potential ways to solve vamps once and for all. There’s no liquidity to have 5 vamps of the same coin anymore, If anyone is passionate about this change let’s brainstorm can share what we’ve already built etc. But it’s not as simple to solve as most people think that’s for sure.

In order to check if a token is on balanced or not the easiest way is click on the token if it says platform is “bonk” and not “bonkers” on axiom that means it’s on balanced. I’m aware it’s confusing defo need to work on presentation, devs are working on UI update to make it more clear.

Find myself spending less and less time here. Crypto content has basically gone to 0. Most crypto accounts have switched to normieslop or techslop or claude-written articles that are 700 words of empty nothingness about something random. Barely ever see my friends’ posts because of all the constant algo changes, and there’s always some random person in my replies asking if a screenshot of a trade setup is an undisclosed shill 💀 Overall just an utterly terrible user experience. This place was awesome 6 months ago (and even last month wasn’t too bad), but the last few weeks on here have been almost unusable

Big whales messaging me saying that the LP’s is actually looking decent enough for them to consider buying a coin on Solana again. We reached out to a lot of people before we released this update and the consensus is there is 0 reason to play on chain if a 10 sol buy or 10 sol sell sends the chart in either direction at a mid sized marketcap. LP’s are compounding at a 4x better rate per 1M volume, the difference is already showing in a major way.

@mellometrics I think the only way to prevent PvP is to actually block using same name / ticker once a coin bonds so no new ones can be created. Get only one to the end line and then have a match between OG and the new one.

I think that's a bad choice. What I imagine would happen: The money guys who actively rape coins would just switch between the two or three coins that they pump and extract. That's the underlying issue on PvP, we should just cut off the possibility for the PvP, let the best ticker / name win and that would actually help the OGs come back into play

One of the ideas which is a quick fix we could do is right now our dev rewards only reward bonded tokens. So each person who bonds a token on our platform today would be paid out 14.48 $SOL and 154.03 $USD1 ( it's dynamic so may change). Right now it grabs every bonded token, what we could do is if there's multiple tokens that bonded with the same name we consolidate all the funds from those PVP's into the "winner" only payout a single deploy that won. Doesn't stop the problem from happening but it at least is a first step Thoughts?

On coin bonding, the same ticker couldn't be used for X amount of time would be godsent and I think combined with the liquidity, we have everything fixed🫡 Another one I've been thinking would be to destroy API coin creation to reduce the spam from bots, don't know if that's something that could be even done but crossed my mind
