We’re rolling out more tooling around this in the coming weeks. I can’t wait.

For those who care: A few hours ago, we (the Fractal Engineering Team) largely completed the development changes and internal testing for the new Fractal node release (FIP-101). Starting tomorrow, we’ll begin notifying miners to participate in testing the new node version! This marks Fractal’s first delivery of 2026. We hope the upcoming coordination and testing process goes smoothly and enables the next phase to activate at block height 1,500,000 (estimated around February 11). Notably, this is our first major feature implementation primarily made by our in-house AI fellows. The overall development cycle was shortened by about 30 days (!!) compared to our initial expectations, resulting in a 300%+ improvement in development velocity (!!). In the year ahead, we’re optimistic about further strengthening the engineering capabilities of both UniSat and Fractal. We’re a bit tired — but genuinely excited. We’ll follow up soon with a comprehensive breakdown of the engineering details, implementation approach, and the relevant code for public review. If you have any questions about FIP-101 (fractal-bitcoin.notion.site/FIP-101-Fracta…), feel free to ask here — I’ll do my best to answer. 🙌
