@filthbomb_mike It’s them being greedy. I asked one on whatnot and said the martins are not there..right now they’re all pushing retail. It’s kind of funny.
We are entering a “new era” of the sports card hobby.
The Repack Era.
Many breakers are leaning towards repacks, and a lot of people who used to be breakers or flippers are creating repack businesses.
What are your thoughts on this new wave of #thehobby?
My brand new 2024 Range Rover P530 is currently in the shop for the following issues
1. Weird shake/vibration in seat/floor, worst between 45-60mph but also felt at other speeds
2. Rough downshifts, mainly 2nd and 1st
3. Check engine light was on for 3 days when it had about 900 miles on it.
I dropped it off for my scheduled appt on Tuesday and was told they only had one mechanic that week due to the holiday and it could be next week before they could even look at it. I was given a loaner, but why even make the appt if you’re not planning to look at it for week?
I can’t stand any weird vibrations in a vehicle- makes me crazy. I like SMOOTH, REFINED rides. I paid $150k for this vehicle so it should be fantastic. So far, it isn’t.
While at the dealer, I test drove another Range Rover just like mine and felt the same weird vibration. Oddly enough, it arrived on the same truck as mine. Maybe a flaw on all coming out of production at that time?
If they cannot remedy it, I’m going to sell it. I’m spoiled by the smoothness of EVs now so maybe that’s affecting my perception even more than usual.
If I sell it, what should I replace it with? 🤔
@TeslaTomMY1@GuyDealership@FullpathCDXP TDI’s are the way to go. Just reflash the newer ones and your back to 50mpg. I was getting 54 in 04 Jetta. They are clean cars till you start modding like the diesel freaks but then u get more MPG. It’s a 1.9l motor, it doesn’t put out much emissions.
Top vehicles sold over the 4th of July weekend, 2023, as compiled by @FullpathCDXP :
1. Ford F-150
2. Ram 1500
3. Toyota Camry
4. Jeep Grand Cherokee
5. Chevy Silverado 1500
But here’s my bet: this year will look *very* different.
Here’s why…
Large pickup truck sales have been on a consistent decline, driven by historically high prices.
I expect to see more small pickups (Maverick, etc) and compact SUVs in this year's lineup.

Golf has a problem.
Tee times.
Golf rounds were around 500 million in 2006 - that is when they started to decline.
In 2019 - there were 441 million rounds.
And golf course supply has generally followed that trend.
From 2006 to 2023, over 2,000 golf courses were closed in the United States.
And there have been 18 consecutive years of negative golf course supply.
Golf rounds were at 531 million in 2023. An increase of 90 million in just four years.
Tee times are more difficult to get, and green fees have increased.
My concern is that the growth could be stifled due to a lack of supply.
I did a survey last week (read the full piece to get all of the results).
659 people responded to the survey.
This is what surprised me most.
• 208 found it difficult to make a tee time
• 328 found it somewhat difficult to make a tee time
Of the 536 that answered the above. Nearly 60% have played fewer rounds this year.
I do think there are opportunities to help increase capacity with our current golf courses.

Took the Cybertruck to the car wash. Now the bed is SOAKED with liquids.
We are supposed to leave town this morning, but instead we have to wait HOURS for this flood to dry up.
If I put my suitcases in the water they will be ruined.

BREAKING
CDK Global has *just* successfully restored system access to a small initial test group of dealers!
Huge milestone and hopefully the start of broader restoration.
Once validation is complete, they will begin phasing in other dealerships.
Do you ever say to friends “I can’t afford it”?
Say you’re invited to a nice restaurant/bar or maybe to go on a weekend getaway etc.
If it was too much money would you say that you’re busy or couldn’t make it, or would you actually say that you can’t afford it?
